You're complaining that the story stops. It doesn't . You just don't like its not about your class. Oh well. You also insinuated that at 55 suddenly the single player aspect is over and I explained it isn't.

And as for jarring, I was explaining there should be nothing jarring about it. You'll get over it. Play as you want, let other people play as they want.

But keep beating the dead horse. Hey, I want class stories too but I'm not going to cry in the forums about it. I understand they have to make decisions and they made their decisions. Time to move on.

Actually if done right I think it's totally fine do stories on planets that FEEL like class stories. Just a few diefferent cutscenes and text-lines.

Remember how the black talon thing felt when you fist entered it? With the cutscenes? And everyone has done it, just there was so muss "class" around it, that you didn't even really notice the break.

Ofcourse delivering class quests increases the replayability of the game by ENORMOUS amounts.... And the love for the respective character, too.

I'm sure you'll be the last active player standing, and only your opinions will matter. Now that would be a real success

And this just reinforces my point that you don't get it.

Yes, I understand that faction stories are something of a continuation of "our" stories. Yes, I get that there are dailies for solo content. I'm even good with all of that. Faction stories are like the planet arcs. Dailies give us something to grind in a group or solo.

What I'm getting at is how "easily" they could continue the individual class stories with a stand alone mission here, a few lines of text there, or even a small quest line from time to time. I can't speak for others, but I'm not looking for anything as big as the original three chapter story. Sure, over a few years, it could get there in total, but I'm just after bits and pieces.

You don't like the idea? Fine. But I'll not let you derail my quest for improvement in this game. What I want is not in lieu of anything else. It is in addition to. The only way we get stuff is by asking for it. So if this horse is, indeed, dead, I'll happily keep beating its carcass until someone drags me away. And that ain't gonna be you.

You proved you don't understand what we are asking for with this post, or simply don't personally care.

Fine then, let those of us who DO care discuss it.

And to even give that point a laser sharp focus, they don't even have to continue the class stories that way.

What I specifically mean is by making short Questing FACTION stories that over the year will lead into whatever the expansion planet is going to be. Stories that are one or two quests per faction, released every 2-3 months, that tie into what's coming up, or wrap up what just happened. Transition quests in a sense.

Its the one smart thing that is lacking in this game.

P.S. - even saying that, the faction quests should still recognize and have tie-ins to the various class quests in terms of framing and references for the cutscenes.

lol. Have fun. And we don't just get "stuff" by asking for it. This is why the staff at Bioware has to preface each cantina tour with "we will not be answering questions on XYZ". People like you don't know who to handle being told "no".

Do you know the definition of insanity? (Or one of them...)
Try this on for size: NO.

I think what it all comes down to is ratio of effort-to-reward for the developers.

1) Is it worth the time/effort to create new VO acting and scenes revolving around each class? If yes, proceed to 2).

2) Would the main story development be effected by this expenditure of time/effort? If no, proceed to class-quest creation.

I get what people are saying: Throw a bone to Class-story fans in the form of just a couple of quests in the midst of non-class quests on places like Oricon. God knows, I can see Sith Inquisitors being hyped about wanting to either gather up Dread Master relics and holocrons to either study or destroy, but is the creation of that quest going to do anything more than add something to the 'to-do' list? Will it advance the story in a meaningful way or is it just a sop to the Class Story fans?

Also, would Class-Story fans be content with 1 or two quests every six months or so? Or would it simply be the crack in the door for them to hammer at and demand more and more from the Development team that have already said, endlessly, that the focus is now on the entire story and not just your own personal story?

Finally, there's this: We know that they can introduce new items to the game via the CM that results in new story content. I mean the Shroud Data Cubes and the addition of Treek as a new companion.

I would be 'okay' with them releasing Sith Inquisitor Packs on the Cartel Market containing 3-5 Daily Quests that focus on new questing zones that add to the existing SI story. The rewards would minuscule and probably be CM reskinned armor/weapon shells rewarded after the first completion, but repeatable every day for a few credits.
