In particular the European PvP servers look extremely weak at the moment.
This is why BW need to rethink their strategy of upcoming content, what are the reason players are leaving? What could we do to bring them back? I do believe updating the Class stories would be a very nice incentive for former subscribers to come back, not the next PVE/PVP gear tier grinding, not the player housing, not the guild ships.

I view this game as a mostly single player story driven game, I care about my characters and their companions, I want more unique quests related to them, this is what Bioware sold us, and the fact this is Star Wars is what made me want to play this game. Sure it will take me a while to level up all the classes and finish their unique stories, plus the companions stories, but once that is done, what else is left in this game that other games don't already do better? You need to give me an incentive, I'm absolutely cool with new flashpoints/operations/daily areas/planetary story content, but as your customer it is not what keeps me staying into this game.

Unless Bioware is slowly pulling the plug?

Heh, well if you are looking at the charts on torstatus for the last year and seeing stability, I'm just going to flat out disagree with you. Activity levels look to me as weak as they ever have since the last round of server mergers. Most servers don't even register any time at "heavy" anymore during the week, a few don't even blip up on the weekend, and only the double XP weekends seem to make any servers really busy.

This game is a business. And only the elitist, ignorant, or very foolish say that customers who walk away due to something entirely preventable "do not matter".

Nothing more to say to you.
This is strange but... Errrr... Hmmmm... How can I say this?

Your viewpoint is myopic. You wanted KOTOR 3-11. But you're playing an MMO.

You want class stories because you've played KOTOR 3-11. Now you want KOTOR 12-14.

Other players want an MMO. They want PvP. They want flash points. They want operations. They want group content. This is because they bought an MMO, not KOTOR 3-11.

If we are basing future content decisions on what torstatus shows, Makeb/RotHC was hugely popular and brought a large number of players back to the game, at least for several months, without class story. So while I would agree that Bioware is taking a big risk with their roadmap for this year, I wouldn't agree that class story is going to fix it. They need more content of every type, and if given a choice between small class stories or really good faction stories, I'll cast my vote for the faction stories.

My own personal belief is that players are leaving because they are getting bored with endgame. Ranked PvP is clearly being allowed to atrophy until it dies completely, and raiders are looking at a year or more with no new operations or even significant flashpoints to keep them playing.

Wait, is this the SWtOR forums or church? We shall now read from the book of KoTOR 3:11; And it shall come to pass that there will be a multitude of players online playing Star Wars, and in it's forums there will be great wailing and gnashing of teeth, and the Revan shall stand in the shadows, waiting.
I'll tell you what, then. Why don't you call me some time when you have no class?

Pics or it didn't happen.

Now torstatus doesn't sample continuously, I think it polls once an hour if I remember right, so I suppose it is /possible/ that all NA servers could be heavy on a Monday for 5 minutes and torstatus would miss it. But generally, no, there are a lot of servers that are basically never registering heavy during the week.

Hell, right now, we are in European prime time on the Tuesday after lockouts reset, and every EU server is "Standard".

Jedi Covenant is a good example of what I am talking about here.
