Don't forget Leia's tiny blaster at the beginning of ANH.

We obviously have many examples of my original point. Armor is useless in the Star Wars universe. Shields are the only thing that stop any attacks. So, why bother wearing cumbersome armor? I mean, unless you want to look cool/menacing or are more machine than man.

I said leias little sporty blaster on Tantive IV. That's the one you mean.

I like the gear, it's nice to have some options that are not slave girl outfits. I'm looking forward to some of the new pieces.

Of course, more variation of "normal" clothing is needed as well, but I wouldn't want them to completely stop releasing skimpy gear.

Yeah I guess NSFW was the wrong phrase to use, but you know what I meant. On the sears site that fine in context, again I don't have a problem with the skimpy sets themselves, it's just in the context of the game they are immersion breaking. I don't mind "sexual themes" but, to me, it feels cheap when it's so blatant and overdone. It's probably why I don't enjoy playing games like Mortal Kombat where all the female characters are over sexualised. Or when you're watching a show on HBO and they throw nudity in every other scene just because they can. (Not sure if they're the right analogies to make)

I'm not saying it's "overdone" in the game, but there are a few skimpy gear sets now and a lot of people use them on the server I play on, much so to the point where I get annoyed by it. Like I'm in an ops group with 6 characters who are all in relaxed vestment/slave girl/etc outfits... it just ruins the immersion in the game for me.

Storm troopers died from blaster bolts from Han's blaster, which is heavily modified to piece even the thickest personal armor plating. That doesn't count.

they also died to the pistols of the rebel troopers on leia's ship when vader captured it. those were standard blasters. come to think of it, storm troopers armor didnt even stop sticks. is it protection from pillow fights?

If I could put down all the various thoughts and images that raced through my head when you mentioned storm troopers in a pillow fight...
