They will start appearing in packs first I think, probably the next Cartel Pack to come along (and not the one already previewed on Dulfy waiting to be released, I mean the next announced pack.) It will of course be a full on Cartel Coin exercise and you will be very lucky to see reskin variants dropping from Nightmare bosses or appearing on Comm vendors any time in the foreseeable future i'm afraid

*has short sleeves (oh the humanity)
*the shirt is tucked in (damned manners!)

Meanwhile, in the bounty hunter corner:

*the helmet is completely wrong on so many levels.
*there are no light armoured chestpieces in the mandalorian style, only super heavy armored or what looks like a padded vest
*only oversized armored gloves, no thin ones
*all the boots are super armored
So either we look like a walking bankvault or we have to pilfer other classes outfits to scrounge together a look that even slightly resembles the boba fett armor.

But hey, every time I mention that the jedi set differences are minor, I always hear "the troopers and bounty hunters all look like they did in the movies".
Oh hey look, a contradiction. You pretty much just nit picked about the BH gear just as we have about the jedi gear.

Oh hey look, someone who didn't read the entire post.

I was nitpicking because one of the most used arguments for the "traditional" robes is that "the other classes have their iconic looks, why not the jedi?".
I'm fine with the way bounty hunters look. But they don't look like they did in the movies.

No, you missed it (and again apparantly since you suggest I start may own thread).

I DON'T WANT THE BOBA FETT LOOK IN THE GAME (caps for those who can't seem to read very well, not for yelling).

I was using that to point out that the differences between the jedi outfits in the game and the ones in the movies/kotor are very small, in fact alot smaller than any other class' outfits.
BUT, every time I point that out someone always comes up with the "but the other classes get their iconic movie looks already" argument.
And that is what I was countering.

I don't want the boba fett look in the game (in fact I would be pretty annoyed if they did put it in).

And I did state that in my post (you even quoted that part) but somehow everyone seems to miss that.

Other than Obi's robes, what other types are folks looking at as traditional? I see Relnex going for hills of coins on the CM so I'm thinking that model is popular but if you look at all the Jedis in the movies they all wear something different. Or is it more flowy baggy stuff that's brown/ red brown? I'm always down with more cool Jedi outfits but in Clone Wars, movies etc. there is quite a range and open to interpretation.

"but the jedi are an order, they don't wear fashion and they all dress the same" you might say.
Really?
Did anakin look like a regular jedi to you?
Did the council reprimand him for his choice in clothing?
No.
It's a choice to wear those outfits and during this time in the star wars universe, it was simply more popular to wear short sleeves, tucked in shirts and belts on the outside of the robes.
The outfits I want were worn during the Great Galactic War, not all the way back by 300 years ago, you lore ignorant!
Anakin wore perfect Jedi robes as they consisted of all the elements traditional clothing would consist of: "Kimono" shirt, baggy pants, high boots and a tabard. Just different colours and the tabard was made of leather. Speaking of which, I hope bioware will make tabards on those robes a secondary dye slot so we can get Anakin's look with brown black dye

In TOR, it looks like the Jedi NPCs aren't wearing their "kimono" shirts over the short ones with tight sleeves and it really sucks.

And what outfits would those be that are not available?
Because out of all the examples I have seen you give in all the other threads on this subject is one picture of Gnost-Dural in long sleaved robes.
Also, don't call me lore ignorant. It's rude and does not suit you.

Just because it annoys the hell out of me that they cannot fix the robes glitching on seated speeders, which for me removes a massive amount of clothing from my potential wardrobe, does not mean that everyone is the same, some people are happy to look like trash.
You may be onto something here....

Is it possible that they don't understand why we don't like the Obroan armor? Why we don't like it with blinking lights added? And why we don't like it with blinking lights and different colors added?

If they truly believe that we like the Obroan set so much that we want to grind for it 4-times, and then attempt to PvP our ratings to qualify for the 5th version, they need to stop depending on our Community Manager "advocates" for their information, and start reading the forums.

That or BW just needs to hire artists that have seen a Star Wars movie.

Gotta keep loving these kind of threads.

People, whenever they're trying to uphold their INDIVIDUAL SOLE viewpoint, always go for the proverbial "WE", like they're somehow representative of the player base.

Referring to other people like "LORE IGNORANTZ UZZZ...!111!!!" is a nice touch too.

Well, yes. There are actually at least two pictures of Gnost-Dural and there is Beth Allusis and Bela Kiwiiks herself. How is it rude to call someone a lore ignorant if they're just post for the sake of having a fight without the proper knowledge of the lore? :l

And while we're at it: posting for the sake of having a fight is super rude!
