Kinda weird..... looks like Korriban might be renamed Moraband.

Or it could be a new sith homeworld planet, like dromund kaas or ziost.
You are late.

There are already a few threads about it :

I find it funny people are only now starting to feel the gloom and dread of a dying Star Wars. I've felt like that ever since The New Jedi Order and Legacy eras were released. Those are the two I'm rooting for being deleted from canon by Disney. Also, even tough I know how stupid people can be, I doubt Disney will choose to be that stupid, and eventually settle on "Moriband" being A Sith "homeworld" or merely one of the various names for Korriban. Ever since the start of the EU new planets have been given different names, and most of the time it hasn't made any real "issues" with the lore. So I'll just expect all the rage about it, even my own disappointment and annoyance, will eventually die down. As long as they write TNJO and Legacy out of continuity, I'm happy.

"Dying" Star Wars? Ha. Ok. This change to everything is because they want it more organized throughout the entirety of Star Wars for the new movies. This won't have a change on The Old Republic Era because it's way too far back to even influence the movies at all. The reason they have said these things and are making the changes is because some of the stories fan fiction made up are WAY TOO much "out there". They are confusing, don't go along too well and it's just not consistent. Some of them I'll give ya are very well thought out and all but some of the EU stuff was just dreadful. I think what they are trying to do is good for Star Wars in the long run.

I'm not convinced episodes released only on 1 pay service are considered cannon by the general public. I'm sure millions more have played TOR than seen this episode.
Thinking about subbing? Use this link to help us both out http://www.swtor.com/r/3txb7F

According to all the articles regarding the new canon I read, The Clone Wars show is movieverse canon.

Isn't that funny this is exactly what happend. Weird that SWTOR forums has closed other thread regarding the Korriban/Moraband issue. For decades Korriban has been used in other video games, books, comics, etc. and then suddenly changed for no real gain other than what seems to be lucas (name not capitalized) thinking it sounded better?

Real fans will always know this planet as Korriban just as we know Han Shot first.
