BladesaintM
Greetings, I love the game but there seems to be a social element missing from general interaction, namely Pazaak. The addition of this game could introduce a whole new level of community involvement amongst players as they challenge each other to games while in local cantinas OR with an npc pazaak player just like in KOTOR. In the same spirit of gaming, I think it would be a great idea to come up with a few general gambling games to add to the casino on Nar Shadaa as well. The place is HUGE, but there's nothing to do there aside from the story missions. Keep up the good work! Bladesaint.

Alec_Fortescue
Any ESRB/PEGI issues can be avoided. Creative Assembly did it and it's a brilliant solution imo: first they release Shogun 2 / Rome 2 as PEGI 16 (same rating as TOR btw) with no blood and no gore. Few months later they released a DLC (for 2.50 quid) which then was branded as PEGI 18. Brilliant. Simple. Want Gambling and stuff in TOR? Buy DLC/Minor Expansion Pack which is PEGI 18 without affecting the rating for the base game. Edited November 4, 2013 by Alec_Fortescue

That would be a 13 and up rating, just as it is now.
HuaRya
As a past Pazaak thread poster I too feel this is the biggest hole not being fulfilled that the old KOTOR did quite nicely. The only hint that it is in SWTOR in some form is the puzzle boss in Kragga's Palace. Pazaak could operate just like the reputation vendors. Rare cards could be as sought after as rare dye modules. Prizes could be items similar to cartel packs. I would recommend keeping the majority of the content and reputation items in the big casino in Nar Shadaa. DOHboy
We need search! OH wait... was going to say apparently we need to update the search feature in the forums. OR a giant sticky that say to search for a subject prior to opening more posts.

Trilliangirl
I think adding minigames would be great. It would make it more interesting to go to the casinos. (Even if they weren't gambiling just something to do as the character to earn creds).

Michaelz
Paazak table for strongholds and guild ships would help encourge this feature also you should let it help your earn social points for example the winner of pazzak gets a bit more social points than the looser, this would encourge players to be more social with each other. Darth_Krushya
I will always support requests for Pazaak. I want Sabaac and Dejarik too. There should be multiple tiers of play and difficulty, ranging from no bets to very high bets of credits or cartel coins. There should be small stakes tables in many of the simple cantinas. There should be huge stakes tournaments on Nar Shaddaa. Money and prizes should be awarded or awards can be exchanged for prizes like gear, upgrades, and decorations and more. This could be huge. Risl
Any fan of KOTOR loves Pazaak. And most SWTOR players not familiar with it would enjoy it once released. "Pure Pazaak!"

antonmasik
People have been asking for it since before launch. I imagine it something like this: 1. Against computer. Same as KOTOR. Pazaak tables with an NPC sitting at each. Interact with them and start playing immediately. 2. Against other players. These empty interactable tables would put you into Pazaak queue. Maybe you want to play specifically against a friend and queueing as 2-man group would start the game for you 2 immediately. Nar Shaddaa and Fleet Cartel Bazaar seem like the proper places for it. Nar Shaddaa casinos would be cool, but there is one casino for each faction (probably to avoid PvP fights). Promenade cantina would allow both factions to mingle safely -- can't really think of any other cross-faction hubs off the top of my head. Maybe some pazaak in Outlaw's Den too? There is potential here to stick rare cards and interactable decorations into cartel packs, add as rewards to reputations, summer gambling event, etc. Edited November 10, 2014 by antonmasik
