New Daily Area with 2.4? ( POSSIBLE SPOILERS )

So I was having a conversation with a friend of mine, concerning some leaks over a year ago and both Varl and Rakata Prime - once again - came up, since a part of that same leak was tied closely to Oricon, which is coming in 2.4. However...
Spoiler

I was hoping that with Scum & Villainy coming, Varl would be just around the corner but unless some details concerning 2.4 haven't surfaced, I guess such won't be the case, unless the timeline is supposed to be even more confusing than it already is, for some of us. Am I missing something here or is there something concerning 2.4, yet to be revealed?

Anyway, thanks for reading and hope I was able to get my point across.

EDIT:

Would also like to point out that after you finish the Makeb storyline, Rep side, a codex entry called "The Hutt Cartel Alliance" becomes available and hence, I quote...
Quote:
(...) This alliance has been met with skepticism and outright hostility by the Cartel’s lesser members, none of whom were endangered by events on Makeb and therefore had no reason to accept the treaty’s terms. How these rancorous Cartel members will respond to Republic demands remains to be seen. In the meantime, the famous Hutt scientist Doctor Oggurobb now works as an official liaison between the Republic and Cartel leaders–a position he finds annoying in the extreme.

Remember back when the devs first talked about Makeb, and they decided together they want the enemy to be the Hutts? I have a feeling that there were three potential "enemies": Czerka, Hutts, and Dread Masters. Top vote would get an expansion, other two get a daily area. Hutts got Varl, Czerka got CZ-198, and Dread Masters got Oricon. Since Hutts got most, they evolved Varl into Makeb.
And about the end of the Hutt Cartel Alliance Codex: couldn't that ending just be the set up to Scum and Villainy? All the same, I'd love to see everyone's favorite Dr Octurrobb!
Ooh! In Elder Scrolls Online, I get magic spells and colossal PvP! That sounds cool, but one question, where do I get a lightsaber?

Could be Emperor himself. That would be nice.
"Once, I thought myself a monster. I played in rivers of blood and laughed as innocents quaked. Yet when I touched the Dread Masters, I saw that my darkness was but a shadow of true depravity."

I really doubt that, since if you take into the account the dialogue for the Republic side, it really feels that S&V takes place shortly after Karagga's Palace and way before the events on Makeb, since Toborro and Makeb as a whole are not mentioned at all.

The timestamp seems to be broken. Skip to 0:28s and you'll see what I mean.

The Hutt Cartel, though it might appear as a solid faction, mostly just refers to a single Hutt dominating other Hutt clans and setting the rules for a little while, while the others conspire to take that position. It's a recurrent theme in the Expanded Universe. So the Hutt story can continue for a very, very long time. One treaty with one Hutt, does not a treaty make. Given the role of Jabba in the Empire Era of Star Wars, and that this game wants to cater to the fans mostly of the classic Era, we're very likely to see Hutts until the game's last update.

As for the Dreadmasters..
Spoiler

And then Czerka.
Spoiler

For now though there is an overarching story to be told..

Dreadmasters: It's on Bioware's very 2.4 Media post that the Dreadmasters Saga will end at Oricon with the operation Dread Palace.

As for Czerka, I agree there is a possibility that Czerka will try to screw the Empire out of the deal they made and partner up with the Hutt Cartel. Which could very well be the story arc of the planet Slaheyron (The hutt's second most economical planet outside of Nar Shadaa), which was datamined as one of three potentially new planets (Ziost and Bothowui were the other two planets with Yavin 4 being farther down the line).

Sleheytron could very well continue the Hutt Cartel's story.
And as revealed by the PTS, the final boss of The Dread Palace is "the dread council", which is all six of the drea masters at once. After you killed all six.

If you read the datamine for Lehon dialogue, there is a very specific line saying: "but I defeated the Dread Masters at Oricon". Since the Lehon storyline is about fighting Jaric Keadan'a corrupt padawan, maybe we'll see in the future an alliance of the Hutts, Czerka, and the remaining Dread Guards?
I shall call them: T.A.T.S.O.T.A.T.M.H.O.T.G. (the alliance to screw over the all too many heroes of the galaxy). While we're at it, lets throw in the flesh raiders, esh-kha, sand people, revanites, mantel loan separatists, nekghouls, house Rist, Balmorran resistance, White maw, Gormak, and Star Cabal? Now that would be a fun expansion.
Ooh! In Elder Scrolls Online, I get magic spells and colossal PvP! That sounds cool, but one question, where do I get a lightsaber?

Dailies?

Kill x amount of people
Kill x amount of people to collect x amount of baubles
Click on x amount of baubles
Destroy x amount of baubles

And all to collect reputation points so that one day you can buy armor/weapons that has existed in the game since launch and was only slightly modified or recolored.

Awesome.
