Counting the ability to self heal as a dps sage/sorc in lieu of damage mitigation in a warzone or more so in an arena is just flat out ignorant. The self heals are only a fraction of the incoming damage from even a single dps so can only be effective away from combat. Furthermore, unless you are specced deep into corruption, the force cost of healing to full is so force expensive that you are left with no force after healing to full which means now you have to recover all your force by seeth-meditate before re-engaging. As a practical matter, classes are able to re-invigorate (recover full health-full energy) more efficiently than a sorc/sage healing self to full and then having to recover full force. What really happens is that sage/sorcs just re-invigorate (seeth-meditate) exactly the same as other classes do.

How can sorc/sage "make them pay" when every other dps class does as much dps? All that happens is the sage ends up paying with another trip to the medical center because other classes have damage mitigation and they don't. "Make them pay" suggests that the sage can unleash some uber powerful dps or outmaneuver another dps which simply is not the case. "Easy to play, hard to master" and "Make them pay" are just another way of trolling the players with L2P.

Could have saved the typing and just put the answer to the top 3 questions is "No".

So it only took them 9 months to finally figure out what we had been trying to tell them all along since 2.4 went on PTS--full corruption is useless in arena.

Waiting another 9 months for them to figure out how to fix it...

And I was thinking it would be embarrassing for the dev's to say something "we don't know how to fix" but it looks they are fine with this lol... It's nice to know Sorc heal in Arena is broken and dev's don't know what to do and even they don't know when they will do something but it's in their priority list))) So much thank you for this BioWare!

Why even bother having us appoint a class rep and give our issues if they are going to respond with the George Zoeller-esque arguementative "Your issues don't exist" ********?

It's been like this since day one, issues are presented to them in a thoughtful manner with overwhelming evidence and they just tell us to L2P.
