CarlosTrevisan Posted August 21, 2013 Share Posted August 21, 2013 so ive just buyed 2x the 24x hipercrate. and more 6 of the other pac (the simplier one) and havent got any varactyl. also have 4 pieces of complete 505 sieries armor (2 of them equal). ive receive so many many many many many many [Rotworm Practice Jersey] ive also got about 3 or 4 speeders on allthat. but no varactyl. ok they are randon. but how much low is the chance?? im feeling playing Diablo 3 here... Grats - You just made someone else a nice bit of cash and didn't get what you wanted. So now, sell what you did get for the best price you can and buy the mount for a few million credits when someone puts it on the GTN. A fool and their money are soon parted. Yes BW is making a ton of cash right now with us buying these packs but will it ultimately damage the game? After wasting a ton of money in the past on these packs I vowed never to buy another one and I haven't. As I have said, I would GLADLY buy cool stuff individually on the CM with real money. I know I can buy them with creds on the GTN but I use my creds to buy better gear for myself, companions, and alts and I budget just a small amount for vanity items. No I won't buy packs and sell them for creds on the GTN cause I have better things to do than babysit a virtual store and end up with trash that no one wants anyway. I doubt. Honestly, i was aware of the randoness. But after spending so much money and buying 54 packs I COULDNT COMPLETE A SINGLE SET OF ARMOR TO COLECTORS!!! not eben thses ridiculous rotworm gim uniforms. I have receive so many junk that ive fillled up to tier 4 of my ship bay to space missions buffs, companion gifts, crafting materials etc. I though that with 6k CM i you gain a complete set of 505 series. ive spend about 15000 CM coins and got 4 pieces! 4 pieces?!?!?!!? and 2 of them are the same (legs). and i have like 10 torso armor of these rotworms. its ridiculous. whats happening here? Seriously, those drops are random and never guaranteed. For the rare ones its better to wait a couple of days to buy one in the GTN, or wait a couple of months and get it cheaper. Seriously, chill and wait for it on the GTN - after selling 54 packs' worth of items, you'll have more than enough credits to buy one. As a side note, my personal recommendation would be to take the money you're blowing on CM packs and spend it on some reading/writing courses. I'm reminded of the Channel 4 station ident where Homer Simpson is in a tree trying to grab his pack of beers that somehow ended up dangling from a power cable. Every time he goes for the beer he gets a nasty electric shock, and yet he stays up there all night grabbing at the beer and getting shocked. We can take heart from the fact that the game has a bright future if even a quite small proportion of players are like the OP. Easy. No stress. Exactly. Who buys 48 packs to only get 1 item? That is just plain dumb. Sell the crates, sell the packs, sell unlocks, etc. and use the credits to buy the Varactyl mount off the GTN.
