Nothing to see here, move along. It's pointless to use logic against someone who obviously lacks it.

Like i said before this is very common in browser games and they have a lot of success with it. It is just all about showing f2p players how much more comfortable your life as subscriber is.
There's no reason not to do any of that stuff, other than "Because BWEA apparently has no intention of doing that stuff."

No company gives more value for the money just because some customers ask for it.

Heh, true.

But you would not know this by reading a gaming forum.

It's still NOT clear to me why the thread exists. There is always a personal motive for creating a thread topic and feeding it when people disagree with you.

Is it that Propane "wants" to go F2P and not lose any subscriber privileges? Is this the root of the topic?

OR

Is this just a good old fashioned complaint for complaint sake thread?

I honestly can't tell.

Go ahead, close down the forum - this is the closest you will get of criticism because all F2P players are 100% ignored by this company.

This whole thread wreaks of flaming. Considering the OP's name is Propane, I guess it's fitting. If people want to have an opinion, they need to have a wallet. Why should anyone take free advice when they are already getting advice from people who pay to provide the advice?

As for playing a better MMO, if you hate this one so much, you should spend your $15 elsewhere. Never understood the need to whine and moan about a game you obviously hate yet continue to pay to play. It feels less like constructive feedback and more like a cry for attention.

These threads are just as common in LotRO's forums as here, and IMO the LotRO equivalent of Preferred (Premium) is better than TOR's Preferred. The usual rant was that subs deserve more, which would require Premium to get more to stay afloat on that "rising tide." Many people, when confronted with "If you think sub is a bad deal, go Premium" replied "But Premium has too many restrictions!" And when countered with "Then stay subbed," they would reply "But sub does not give me enough for my money!" ad infinitum. I have a hunch what they were after is the same thing their counterparts want here: all the benefits of subbing but at the cost of being Preferred/Premium.

One of the big differences between this f2p and lotro is you can earn points in game and you cant here. Also you can buy expansions with points as well. This game is put together better though than that one at least in my opinion

Both games have strengths and weakness in different areas of game play and execution, IMO.

Once more, with feeling. The FTP option is basically available for you to play the storylines for free. If you want a full multiplayer experience, you should pay for it. Makes sense to me.

If you are someone who cares enough to come on the forums and complain about P2W, how can you also be playing as a 'casual' and are F2P or Preferred?

P2W can only exist when dealing with a Sub VS a Sub. You can't play the Roller Caster Tycoon Trial and complain about the P2W and restrictions...
Yeah I was one of those restricted crowds yet I was a hardcore raider and pvper, deced out in full pvp gear and almost full raid gear and you have the nerve to call me casual?

No because no MMO out there tries to pull that crap off on you. This game hides behind being story driven but in the end its just a generic hotkeyed based MMO like all the others. Never hinder the multiplayer experience to an MMO
