I have a huge respect for Community Team people, as they can put up with people on this forums, which are often enough to refill my weekly dose of cynicism in one day...
I agree that they will be flamed for whatever they do, but remaining silent is not a good decision and they will look worse ignoring a thread.

If it weren't for that bug, I would have capped the node before the score hit 0. That is game breaking. It happens to a lot of people that I know(in game).

Maybe our definition of game breaking and "what's important" may differ. However, BioWare should respond to every single one of those threads that I linked. I didn't say have to, but it would be nice to know that they are truly listening to us and fixing these bugs.

Just like I have no proof they aren't listening; you don't have proof that they are. It's good that we both want more communication because that is what this thread is all about.
Whether people don't like BioWare's response or whether they do shouldn't dismiss this thread's true purpose.
Well my ratio is only about 70 (PvE) / 30 (PvP) but I guess that is the difference....I would not define you missing a cap as game breaking in any way....if you were suffering, for example, a CTD every time the ability mis fired then That would game breaking IMO....and THAT'S why devs don't always give us the level of info we crave....everyone has a different take on what's important, what's game breaking and how best to fix things...

PvPers would beg to differ. If you're not a true PvPer, then of course you wouldn't see that as game breaking. I know PvErs that find it game breaking as well.

Anything that hinders game play warrants a dev response.

His point was that PvP players think they are the center of the universe, but they represent a small percentage of players. If there were no PvP the vast majority of players would neither care nor notice. PvP players are off on their own little worlds anyway (literally). What really angers PvP players is that no one pays attention to them--including the vast majority of players.

And from what I have seen the ability mis fire bug has received several responses in the past...a fix a short time ago etc. so by definition has not been ignored. Responding to / fixing in a time frame that suits the community is an entirely different conversation.

I disagree completely with the assertion that you personally missing a single cap constitutes a critical or game breaking bug in any way, though as always everyone will have a different take on it

1). The bug is back and BioWare has not responded. So yes, they are ignoring it.
2). Say that on the PvP forums

It's okay to voice your opinion, but you're wrong on so many levels.

I'm not so sure about that.

"Answer my thread" does not work the CS reps on the forums of any game I've ever played.

Which part?

I'm not saying PvPers should be ignored just because they PvP. The problem is that in every game I've played (DDO, LotRO, EQ2, TSW a bit, Neverwinter and TOR), on the forums, PvPers as a group have the attitude that they as a group are the most important segment of the gaming population. All the games I listed are PvE games. PvP is an add-on (to a greater or lesser degree) to help get a few more players in the game, or simply as a marketing tool because people expect an MMO to have PvP like just about every hotel has a swimming pool whether people are likely to use it or not. And note, my comment was about people who consider themselves primarily PvPers, not about people who ever PvP at all.
