I have a problem with adding companions when there's already three per character I never use because there's no role synergy for them. As much as I like Blizz, I don't use him in actual combat as a powertech tank. And if it was the reverse and I was a healing mercenary, then I'd never touch Mako. It's worth having one DPS backed up for roaming and bursting, but that's it. I personally don't find grinding missions or companion items to get affection up for a handfu of ewok conversations and maybe a shoe-horned in oneshot mission, or gearing another companion.

And to say that their are few people who have that legacy level is only stating the fact that hardly any original players still play this game. I have had legacy level 50 for well over a year, and it was easy to get then with half the content that is available now.
Maybe you play a lot more than the average player. Ever think of that? I've been playing since Feb '12 and am nowhere near Legacy 40, let alone 50. I'm not sure, but I'm probably closer to the average player, in terms of time spent in game.

As for the legacy level, look at it this way: It is not special treatment for those with money. The stupid Ewok is a CM item. It is special treatment for players with high Legacy levels that they don't have to pay cash for the stupid Ewok.

I agree with this. I use two companions with my main. Ashara or Talos. All others are useless, except to gather and craft.

If they really, really needed to put a stupid Ewok in the game, they should have just made it a pet.

500 CC was nice. Yes, would've been better if they gave somewhere closer to 1500-2000, you know, enough for them to say "Buy multiple small things, or that one big thing." as some items cost way to much.

As for the cost of the title, likely 10 CC equals 10th anniversary. But yes, I don't see why they didn't just give it away free to subs
"It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm rather offended by that.' As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more...than a whine. 'I find that offensive.' It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, so *********** what." - Stephen Fry

I couldn't agree with you more. If you have an active sub, BOOM, you get a mail that has a title in it. It's not hard. And if the F2P'ers want it, they can spend the 10cc.

Well, I think they have gotten more pragmatic recently, and I think that is a good thing (though I note that some of that displeasure with the game may be residual from before the launch of F2P/Market...it may take a while to win some folks over).

I don't think I have ever found them to be particularly biased, negative or positive. Just opinionated, as most of these types of things are.

I was just hitting send to respond to your PoV on the other topic at hand, but it would seem my thread was deleted because of the off topic bickering inside of it.

Short answer: I agreed with you. I think people just need to be more polite when offering the critical feedback with a sense of urgency.
