Inocelda (Inovisible in game)

The man knows his class and is an amazing healer. His spreadsheets are not only for scoundrels but the majority of classes and specs. I highly recommend people check them out.
Ascension Apply Here

Nobody you people pick other than randiesel will matter. I have never even talked to him in-game, and I am not friends with him, however I recognize potential when I see it and we need him on board.
This is probably the truth, but it won't go very far with the healing mavens unless there's more explanation. Scoundrel (and Operative) as a class right now are very, very strong healers. The healers don't need much help and literally don't require that much analysis. Scoundrel DPS is an a much worse place -- in some particular ways -- than Scoundrel healing.

We need someone able to communicate those issues in a cogent, thoughtful way. I'm willing to nominate anyone who's actually interested in the responsibility and informed about the issues/changes needed for DPS specs.

I could use a break from the tough jobs.

That's exactly why we need him. I swear, if he loses I might unsubscribe.

@Sith

I'm at a loss for words. Thanks for your appreciation, it is very well received.

Quite honestly, I never thought I made a difference, and at time I felt like I was just complaining without having any positive affect coming from my posts. Thank you again.

The only problem I have with this whole class rep thing is that it's instilling faith in their playerbase that changes might actually be made. We've been on the forums posting many objective ideas for a while now, and seen nothing. Actually, what went live with the expansion seemed to be completely misrepresentation of the whole "we want your feedback" approach they took with the PTS.

This is a way for BW to get people who are paying to play to do their jobs for them, without having to pay them in turn, and giving hope to those in the forum community. It in no way means we'll see any changes anytime soon, nor does it especially mean they'll be this expansion. 2.4 is well under way and they are probably considering anything that is brought up for say 2.6 or so, as 2.5 will likely be another cartel market patch, b/c we all need those shiny new cartel items.

And in the end, it'll only be that, consideration.

I know that they don't give 2 ****s about their game; but if we're allowed to ask 3 questions, I would like to see you ask them.

In the end, it probably won't matter and I'll probably unsubscribe anyway in the near future.

Having said that, I believe that we need our best representatives to ask 3 questions which get 3 good answers.

Only you can help(or at least attempt to help) these people.

Maybe a lot of you folks missed something...This thread is only to get the popular names so that a vote can be started to pick the rep. When that happens, since I obviously wouldn't vote for myself, I'd be happy to vote for randiesel (Crackshot) because not only do I know he is good from playing with him in a few warzones but he also is active in forums.

As I said before, you don't get anything from becoming the class rep. So, instead of it being a popularity contest or comparing who has the biggest lightsaber, you are simply voting for someone who knows every aspect of the class well to include PvE, PvP, and the ins and outs of ALL 3 specs for that AC. They don't have to be THE best player of all those specs for both pve and pvp but they should be very knowledgeable. Why? After the nominee is voted and picked to actually be the class rep, there will be another thread where the community will say everything they want to be heard. That rep will have to decide what is complete garbage and shouldn't be officially brought up versus some actual good points about ways to improve/nerf the class to be balanced with the rest of the classes.

For starters, some ignorant player posted a few posts ago that "scoundrel dps is much lower than others or lower than shadows"....That person doesn't have a clue what they are talking about or they just suck. Whoever said that should probably look at my spreadsheets because you could definitely use some improvement if you are getting out-dps'ed by shadows.

BW has actually done a pretty good job with balancing all classes "numbers"..All classes can essentially hit about the same numbers (Pllease don't argue this point unless you know what the f you're talking about and have looked at my spreadsheets). I think the part that can be argued for unbalance comes with 3 points -
1. Defensive capabilities for survival to keep those numbers
2. Consistency to be able to always hit those numbers so comparing things like the amount of RNG that comes into play (the perfect example of this is the Sharpshooter who has no procs that they have to balance versus Gunnery who has to rely on their Curtain of Fire procs that are heavily reliant on RNG)
3. Maneuverability to be able to keep their rotation to hit those numbers
When you look at all of those 3 points for all 3 specs of that AC (healing, tanking, dps), you will be able to effectively compare classes because you're obviously not going to argue the numbers part if each class is able to just stand still like hitting the ops dummy.

I really don't care who gets voted to be the class rep as long as they have a deep understanding of ALL classes and specs in the whole game.

On an unrelated note...I hope that Sith guy does unsubscribe if his candidate loses so he can learn a thing or two about how you don't always get what you want in life.
