It was 200k for a stack of 4, so 50k each. And they sold super fast. Faster than I could get them. So I had to raise prices past that.

They're down way below that now, of course, even to the point that many Augments are profitable enough that crafting them is the better decision than selling the raw materials.

But it sure was fun while it lasted!

Once they changed things so you could cancel your listings until having to wait until they expired, undercutting was bound to run rampant. In the end, practicing a little patience is more profitable anyway. It's a pain to have to re-list stuff but, if you know what the typical market prices are for an item, you'll get your price eventually. Like others have said, if they list the item at a really low price, then you can make a lot of money buying that stuff and re-selling it. Although, if it is at that low of a price, it's probably because they don't know the usual market prices rather than someone trying to undercut.

That's one of the reasons I liked the deposit fee based on the listing price rather than vendor value. It discouraged cancelling posts.

Yeah. A deposit of less than a hundred credits on a 100K Augment is a joke. I personally don't like it but if someone is willing to cancel and repost every 15 minutes in order to be at the bottom of the market, more power to 'em. That kind of effort deserves to be rewarded I guess.

If the OP was smart he would buy up the 75% discounted products and repost them. But instead I guess I see why he would come here to complain about it... oh wait...

One time I controlled the economy in game with a certain item...I had loads of money to spare, and wanted to make more...people were undercutting me by 20-30%...I bought out anyone who undercut me and sold it at my own price....it was a lot of hard work standing in front of the GTN for ages...but I earned a lot of money.

LOL.

Oh really now. So you and a few buddies of yours think you can control the market, eh? What grass are you smoking from makeb? lol. You must be the buffoons trying to charge ungodly prices for that junk. word to your mothers, there is no set market price for items. Show me where there is such a link, otherwise, I'll keep undercutting your sorry behinds because like with the materials I farm, it's all free. lol. go back to school and learn Economics 101. Bill Gates or Warren Buffett you and your buddies aren't.
