Can we stop acting like children?

Seriously, that cut scene is like 30 seconds long. You can't spare 30 seconds?

Man, learn some patience and stop being childish yourself.

Yeah, they didn't have to kick you and that was kind of lame, but if you had just kept your chat mouth shut and had some patience you would have been able to finish the FP.

I always start out FPs I have done before by asking if we want to space bar through. And if they don't want to I just deal with it. Except for Black Talon / Esseles, cut scenes in FPs and Ops are usually pretty short. There is no need to spam "spacebar" again and again like some people do.

I get it, you only said it once. But had you thought maybe they had just done another FP where someone else was being an impatient child, spamming it? So, maybe your "spacebar" once was the straw that broke the camel's back in this case?

Really, just ask politely first and have some patience if they say no.

Only the meek get pinched. The bold survive.

I just go make a sammich or something and come back 5 minutes later.

That way they can wait for me after they are done watching their movies.

Whos in a hurry?
For every man there is a sentence, a string of words, which has the power to destroy him.

Sure they do. Maybe if they're institutionalized, I guess.

Oh, no, watch the cut scenes to your heart's content. Then best of luck finding a tank after I drop group because you're doing it.

edit*

I would still rather run it with 3 people that play together often on their first run through then 3 random people that have done it 20 times.
I completely understand that. Is there any group out there that running the same flashpoint for the 20th time that still watches the conversations? That was my point. The fact that they were not spacebarring makes your assumption that they've run it 20 times highly unlikely.

Spacebar?
Sounds so much better than:
Spacebar.

One is a question, the other is an order (or at least a somewhat pushy suggestion).

Spacebar? [invites a confirmation or discussion].

and if you go with:

Spacebar!! [you should just vote-kick yourself and save them the trouble IMO. ]
I'm sorry but this is just ridiculous. So it's Ok if I say spacebar only as long as I include a ? but if I don't include a ? kicking me is fine. So if I miss-type and put spacebar/ I should be kicked.

You guys have basically admitted now that you're offended and kicking people based on your own, likely false, assumptions. I don't think I have to tell you what assumptions do... (which ironically is exactly waht this thread is about)

A lot of you seem to be uptight little *****. He said "spacebar" not "come on you effin slowpokes, spacebar and stop being dip(*#&s." When you say 1 word and people take it as an attack, the problem is the reader not the writer. Sounds to me like the OP has the right of it. These guys were jerks. That being said, I don't think it is worth the post here. The OP should have just put them on his ignore list and moved on.

To those who say "don't get in a group if you don't have time," you are not thinking. Not every group plows through a flashpoint. This guy's group may have started with him having plenty of time to finish and just been that damn slow. I've been in groups where I carried them through Black Talon and we were hitting enrage timers on every boss and the instance took hours because of wipes and players swapping out and all that jazz. I agree with the OP's sentiment and a lot of the responses on this thread just prove his subject. Stop acting like children and grow up.

3. We finish the boss and get to the conversation
4. I say "spacebar' which I acknowledge now and acknowledged in the instance that it was the incorrect way of saying it.
5. I said to them I was sorry I said "spacebar" in such a rude way and could we please move on from it
6. Tank reacts to it and says "I can go a little slower"
7. He and his guildmates run backwards and then proceed to kick me.
If this is how things really happened (acknowledging that we are only getting one side), then I have to agree with the OP on this one. Sorry, but the rest of the group's response was childish.

You might have meant the first one, but can you see how "Spacebar." Can be seen as the second one?
That is the primary problem with communicating through plain text, emotion and intent are not present and completely open to reader interpretation. Over the years and across many MMOs, forums, and IMs, I have encountered this too many times to count

Something to consider though is that those scenes are not necessarily the exact same every time. In convo heavy instances like Ess/BT there are many combinations of conversations I had never heard until I played them out two or three dozen times.

Finally, there is one more thing to consider - not everyone enters a cut scene at the exact same time. There have been numerous occasions when I watch a cut scene and still have to wait for someone (or several someones) in the group to catch up.

All that being said, OP, you must have been REALLY short on time to not be able to wait the (at most) one minute for the cut scene to end naturally.

This is the point of the majority of my posts written more diplomatically lol.

I believe the children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way. Show them all the beauty they possess inside. Give them a sense of pride to make it easier. Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be. Everybody's searching for a hero. People need someone to look up to. I never found anyone who fulfilled my needs. A lonely place to be and so I learned to depend on me.

I decided long ago, never to walk in anyone's shadows. If I fail, if I succeed, at least I'll live as I believe. No matter what they take from me, they can't take away my dignity.

Because the greatest love of all, is happening to me. I found the greatest love of all inside of me. The greatest love of all is easy to achieve. Learning to love yourself, it is the greatest love of all.
