Learn to work with others or suffer the consequences of your lack of caring.

Arlon, you're not bad at twisting things, ironic responses, and putting words in other peoples mouths, I'll give you 4/10 troll points.

I got backfilled into a FP last night because the DDs rage quit on the second boss encounter. Took me less than 60 seconds of polite conversation while running half way across the map and a bit of encouragement and it was easy peasy. I imagine those DDs were still waiting to queue up after I went to bed given the Queue was about 60-90 minutes long for DDs. Heaven forbid they were polite and tried to work together with what they had.
Ironically this was one of my non-troll moments. Just saying spacebar is extremely common place in this game. People considering that rude is the equivalent of people typing np instead of 'no problem' or 'thank you' being rude. It's shorthand for what we all know. Shorthand is all the more important when we are pressed for time or otherwise occupied because the point needs to be convayed quickly.

This whole thread is like selfish vs selfish. Each side is rude in their own regard and they are being ruder in response to the other side's rudeness. I weep for the future of this planet.

Also kicking someone from the flashpoint and making it unable for them to finish it (especially since he was time pressed and would have to restart) is an offense 10 times worse then not taking the time to carefully type out a polite request. All you carebears should go play Hello Kitty: Island Adventure and stop the ridiculous level of over-reaction.

im glad someone sees sense, kicking someone for saying "spacebar" in chat is immature, assuming that was the only reason.

Btw, anyone who suggested not using group finder again, that is completely absurd, yes you will get put with pugs that you dont know their experience, gear or skill level.

Part of the problem with the forums is that too many posters jump to make judgements and baseless accusations of posters they consider trolls, or something that they dont agree with, Grow up.

It is a reality that so many pugs just want to skip all content and are others that dont, there is no need to judge someone because they want to skip content, i have seen 100s of pugs in groups say "spacebar" regardless of whether we did or not, it doesn't mean they are being disrespectful or selfish (hence the baseless accusation), many times i am with a group that wants to skip content, others i am forced to watch it, or wait.

I am likely going to get condemned for this but if you wish to watch content in a SM fp that you want to watch and can at a lower level, then go do so, if it one you cant get at a lower level, eg kaon or something then it may change, but it is immature to kick someone from a group just because they asked you to hurry up.

Reality of most pug groups i have been with on both imp and rep on all 3 servers (Jung Ma, Jedi Covenant, and Harbinger) that i currently play on with my total 9 end game toons are that they want to skip most end game content cinematic, but still not all, you should respect the majority view and go with it, but not make judgements on those who wish to skip content.

TL;DR vote-kick...working as intended. Next time...be more polite with players you don't know.
This just about hit the nail on the head.

Also, chances are if these guys are from the same guild they probably run stuff together all the time and can probably clear it faster than most groups. They needed a fourth, these are the best groups to get into if you are pugging, better than running with four random people that have never grouped before. So in the end a little patience in the cut scenes might of saved you time in the long run.

Next time remember, if you don't want to sit in the que as a dps, you should probably just do what the majority of the group wants to do.

If they cleared it faster and do this all the time they would have been spacebarring and the OPs problem never would have arisen.

I'm sad you don't get the trollishness and irony of your own posts. They're actually quite funny even if its not intended.

I was commenting about the group's cohesion, not how many times they've ran that specific FP.

edit*

I would still rather run it with 3 people that play together often on their first run through then 3 random people that have done it 20 times.

What a statement to make in a thread about people acting as children.

To some people, spacebaring a cutscene is like cutting all the dialogue out of Star Wars: A New Hope. What's the point without the cutscene?

And to be honest, I don't blame them. If I ever run Esseless (Sp), I will not ever spacebar it as I really enjoy that instance, heroic or not.

Next time, ask politely before the run starts what is going to happen. If they refuse to spacebar it and you want to, that'll mean you can easily leave the group. Or you can sit there and enjoy the cutscene with them.
