Fellow sith...

Death is the natural state of life. We will all reach it. Even the Emperor could not escape it when the Jedi came for him. But the Sons of Korriban will you show you the path to eternity, allow you to escape oblivion. Follow the harbingers, and you will be gifted with power beyond your imagining, and you will be led down the path to immortality.

And for those non force sensitive, but loyal subjects. Ask for a transfer to the Harbinger's Guard, and become part of something greater. Serve your Empire well as part of the Imperial 191st Legion. And for those non Imperials, sign on as a mercenary, and aide the Sith down the path, you will be rewarded greatly.

About:

The Sons of Korriban is a Dark Side Sith cult founded by Darth Sylvania shortly after the retaking of Korriban. Currently it is lead by the Harbinger's of Death and War, Darth Abysseus and Darth Deiphage. The cult preaches a path to immortality and power that no other sith can promise.

The Sons of Korriban value sith purity and strength, but are accepting of all races.

Non Sith within the guild fall into two categories: Members of the Harbinger's Guard, the 192nd Imperial Tatical Squadron, The Son's personal army, or as mercenaries who fall under the command of the Harbinger's Guard.

We are a Dark Side guild.

The Application Process

We do not believe in tedious application processes. To join simply get in touch with a member and discuss joining. They can sponsor you if they wish and get you an IC interview with an officer. In the meantime feel free to join our website and post in the Application forum to help expedite this process.

General

The Sons of Korriban are newly reformed and making a name for ourselves on the server. Our first and foremost goal is to get active roleplayers and storylines going that will branch between other guilds, and between members within our guilds. We wish to break down the clique walls that plague the RP community.

End game we are mostly PvPers, though a few of us do PvE. We would like to eventually have enough members to field an operations group and push content casually.

RP:

The Sons of Korriban storyline follows seeking secrets of the Dark Side, and furthering the Empires goals. We are a Dark Side guild, so light side characters or neutral characters will have a hard time fitting in.

Sith characters have an opportunity to take part in master/apprentice roleplay, but starting at the bottom as an apprentice is not required. We also offer similar mentor/apprentice programs for non sith.

Non sith characters within the ranks will have plenty to do as well, whether it be assassinations, providing the proper muscle to make their Sith Lords wills be known, or providing much needed tactical advice. We do not exclude non force sensitives from storylines, but due to the nature of the guild's focus non-sith will have to work extra hard to distinguish themselves from their colleagues.

PvP:

The Sons of Korriban has at it's disposal some of the most experienced PvPers on the server. We regularly warzone and are looking to enough members together to field a ranked team. End game PvP is our primary focus, and many of our members are veterans of both TOR PvP and PvP from other games.

Hey Swerto, do you guys require RP in the Vent server as well as in game? Also, do you require players to be in character in game at all times? If so, what is your procedure for being OOC in situations such as WZ's or running FP's or Op's with other players who don't quite grasp or understand RP?

Thank you in advance for any replies. :)

IC is only required in proper channels, for us that is /o (our in guild IC channel, officer chat was re purposed for this), /s, /e, and /y. You are expected to be IC in these channels at all times, whether an officer is present or not. OOC in these channels should be preceded by a "((" and followed by a "))". We're not going to kick you if you aren't just because you make an offense, but this -is- a rolepalying guild, and we expect our members to conduct themselves in a way that makes this known at a glance.

Other channels are IC by choice (such as /whisper, /group, /ops) and are usually considered OOC by our members.

Ventrilo has not been used ICly at this point, considering we do have people who play male characters that are female, and vise versa. It is there for warzones, PvE, or general communication.
