You seem overly hung up on this "earning" and "lazy" line of thinking. Perhaps you need another reminder that TOR is just a game.

More options is always a good thing. I have yet to see one real good reason as to why this shouldn't be implemented. "Don't be lazy" and "you won't know how to play the class" are terrible and stupid reasons. I have already leveled multiple classes to 55, I have already seen the class stories, planet stories, random quests dialogue, it just isn't fun to keep doing it again and again, I want to be able to experience gameplay in a different way without having to completely re-do it all. If you really want to not be lazy then you should probably be doing something else with your time instead of playing an mmo, period.

There are no difficult classes to play in this game, some have a bit more involved but that's about it. With just a little bit of video watching, forum reading and half your class skills being the same, it would be very easy to properly learn how to play your other AC in an hour or so of switching. Either way though, even if somebody doesn't figure it out immediately it doesn't really affect you in any way, you don't have to group with them if you don't want to.

Not to mention putting this in would allow Bioware to go back to another one of their favorite things, either forcing people who want to switch to buy cartel coins, or another giant credit sink that they seem to favor so much.

There have been many reasons given however "valid" is in the eye of the reader and ALL have been systematically dismissed as "in-valid" hence why this has turned into the energizer bunny of threads..it keeps going and going and going..

We give example of why its bad, people dismiss them as invalid. And use the age old "emotional" argument that for it means "fairness, happiness, enjoyment, makes it better" and those against it are saying others must be "lazy, are against making it better, are not letting you enjoy the game".

So if you want "reasons" read the previous posts. If you are just going to dismiss what is said, why bother asking for reasons.

I didn't ask for reasons, I already read what people against it have said and the argument in favor of it make much more sense. The old "emotional" argument makes logical sense because is there any other reason to play this game than for enjoyment? No. So does it make sense to add a feature that makes it more enjoyable and doesn't negatively affect other's gameplay experience? Yes.

I wouldn't mind seeing the ability to swap out advanced classes because that would essentially open up more skill tree options. Though I think AC respecs should be a serious credit sink. Dual-spec is something else I would really like to see, if only so others don't have to wait around while I manually re-enter skill tree information when I want to field respect.

Of course there would be the requisite hauling around a gig bag full of different gear sets either way. Those of us who've raided in previous MMOs have learned to appreciate being able to hot-swap roles before a boss fight so the party didn't have to drop a character to bring in a specialist for one encounter.

Caveat, the queueing system is set up for available specs based on a single AC. How would it process multiple ACs for multiple players? Would all 4 players have all 3 roles lit up? What would be the (im)patience factor for a just-grouped party to spend time changing ACs and specs based on who brought what while they buff? I think the queue would work faster, but that might be offset by a 4-player party having to go through pre-raid tweaking routines just to run a flashpoint.
Can we please just have our pre-KotFE SWTOR MMORPG back?

Estimated time annihilated.

If something like this should ever come to fruition, there needs to be a very steep price via the Cartel Shop. This allows people to actually think about it. Ten thousand coins, something in that neighborhood. Leveling in this game is far too easy for it to be the flip of a light switch.

1000 is more like it. 10,000 and no one would ever do it. So if your real position is that it should never be allowed, no need for the passive-aggressivenss. Just come out and say you don't like it.

One thousand will never happen. And where did I type that I didn't like it? Comical. Comprehension is amazing, you really should delve into it.

Your suggestion that it cost 10,000 is proof enough you would prefer not to see it at all.

Intellectual honesty, you really should delve into it.

Incorrect assumption.

If you had actually read what I typed, you would then be able to comprehend that reasoning.
