I know we all want to feel like people would back us up if this happened to us and that Bioware is the devil and all, but come on guys, this doesn't smell a little bit funky to you?
other than being a massive troll, at which he could be potentially banned for this, why else would the OP post this? Internet sympathy?

Will sure miss the SWTOR community, ty again
Call them.

If you can stand the wait time, a phone call is honestly going to be the most helpful.

Roughly 2 months since I actually logged into the game for more than 5 minutes. Yeah I think I am done. I had my fun at the start, but I just cannot bring myself to log into the game anymore. There is no good reason whatsoever. A shame really, this game had so much potential. I will be continuing playing Defiance until Wildstar comes out. Farewell all. Hope those of you who are sticking around do still enjoy this game and are not doing it out of pure stubbornness, because that would be a real shame if you are not enjoying it.

Mail is wiped after 30 days, that is how the game works. Other MMOs I have played are about the same. It sucks that you lost all that stuff, but you had to have known it would get deleted after 30 days ahead of time.

Where did they tell you they don't have logs to prove you had it? Did you call them? I would call them. But if they really don't have the logs, you really cannot blame them. It is not Bioware's fault you couldn't check your mail for 30 days.
Unsubscribed due to no new Operations.
I am happy that there will be a renewed focus on story, I love story, its why I picked this MMO. But I picked an MMO, not an episodic single player RPG that I have to pay a subscription to receive the episodes.

proper response to customer service when they said they could not help you would have been "can you please get your supervisor or someone that isnt incompetent to help me?"

Hey folks, if you want to complain, just do it. Trying to validate with your complaint with "I have been here since day 1" like that is supposed to add some seriousness to your complaint is stupid and not needed. Nobody cares if you were in the first beta or started last week.

Do you know why the difference?

Because items sent to you by Bioware are not actually sent until you log in. Check it if you don't believe me. I have logged in a few characters after being dormant for many months and the special items form Bioware show up in my mail as just having arrived when I logged the character in.

A more accurate statement would be Bioware did not Pwn him, he pwned himself, and is probably embarassed about it and does not want to own it. It is known that mail has limited life in your mail box, and either real life forced him to leave without taking 5 minutes to log in and cancel his high value listings (which I doubt was the case) OR he simply did not think it through and figured the game would cut him some slack and not follow established mail rules and process (much more likely IMO).

The timeout on mail is in place for a reason. It's to stop people from using the GTN listing process as free storage for items forever. I'm sure the OP knew this... but either did not care (which I don't believe) or figured his case was special and he could break the established rules (more likely).

OP: reappeal the ticket. As others have said.. sometimes you get a different service support person who will bend a rule to satisfy a customer. You have nothing to lose. In fairness, I get that you are upset... but Bioware did not PWN you.. you did that by not following the mail system rules. You really did not have 5 minutes to log and clear your high value listings before leaving town? Really?

Because both of those things never happen on here?!

First, Anyone who played enough to have all that stuff and 6 50's, would never be dumb enough to leave anything in the hand of SWTOR's horrible mail system. I don't even like to leave things in there overnight.

Second, Who has to go to a remote country where internet doesn't exist, so urgently that he doesn't log on, cancel his stuff and leave? Is he the leader of a rain forest tribe on Holiday and he had to get back before the bulldozers got there?!

Even a military guy would have internet access. It's just too much of a perfect storm of crap. It could have happened, sure, but when he added "remote" country in there as if to answer the internet question before it was asked, it just seemed like he put too much fore thought into how what we might say about it first.

Then there's the list of items.
I'd like to sit down with the guy responsible for having Busta Rhymes fight Michael Myers in HALLOWEEN RESURRECTION. Then, before he could speak, I would slap him so hard his face would explode and his dog would die." - Jim Law

Thing is though... we have an extremely valuable and rare list of in game items.. all miraculously listed on the GTN at the same time, coupled with an alleged emergency exit of the country that precluded even logging into the game to clear the high value items from the GTN, coupled with customer support saying there are no logs of those items having been listed by that player on that account on the GTN.

So.. without attacking the OPs character or honesty in any way.... let me just expore with you that you are are making a giant leap of faith on behalf of a player you do not know, and condemning customer service.

Objectivity TUXs... none of us here know enough about what did/did-not happen to make any judgment on support or lack of it. None of us will ever know enough details to know who is in the wrong here. All we have is what the OP tells us... but you know what... what he does tell us makes for pause for the rest of us.. because it's just extreme enough to have been fabricated for all we know... OR NOT fabricated for all we know.
