We get Coins for free with a subscription, and there's only so much stuff you can buy from the Cartel Market. I like having lots of new little things to spend them on. Otherwise, your options are to let them accumulate or buy the same few things over and over.

That said, for the most part I really like my characters' designs already. Seems to me if you design your characters well to begin with, you won't have to spend a whole lot of Coins making adjustments to them.

They also make the access point to the appearance changes a simple vendor that can be placed in social locations to boost social activity and not big oversized graphics hogs that can only be placed in the main hubs that are already crowded enough.

Also, read my thread, BARBERSHOP Done Right! If they used that model it would do a lot more than just make them money, and it would probably make them even more money because their subs wouldn't feel like they're being ripped off, which would make them feel better about spending.

CO and STO had those features before they went F2P, I can't speak for TSW though.

Yep, the tailor in CO has always been cheap. Running a single mission would supply enough in game credits to completely redo appearance, several times.

Then you spend extra money. Thankfully all the stuff we're talking about are vanity things. So if you're that vain then buy a few coins and change your hair.

The only thing I don't like about Cartel Market is the price, is too high for people. The discount don't do much in packs that cost 2000+ coins...at this moment I don't consider this a good thing, need fixing.

Second all the VIP, Founder perks are those in the store?

Third, the Market items are too vague and don't know what your getting into.

Newcomers need incentive to join the cartel market.

The CM should be used to give people incentive to subscribe.

Instead it is being used to claw more money from subscribers.

The barbershop is the feature, not the existence of different hairstyles.

I am 99.9999999% positive there will be no CC increase.

I think you are misunderstanding him/her. Subs get to use in game credits (i.e. a game feature), freebies have to buy access throught the CM. Thats how it should work.

I've already commented in other threads on this issue, but I would like to say in this thread that, IMO, one good reason that should be considered is that the game's long term health is the most important concern that we all should have.

If it would benefit the game the most for this feature to be added as planned than I think we should support it. However, if it will lead to subscription losses then I think we need to be open to having it adjusted.

I've been playing the game since beta and a subscriber since launch. Enough is enough. To me, having to use cartel coins to pay for gear customization is unacceptable. I'm finishing the new content and I'm done.
