It could be as early as mid-july or as late as September until 2.2 delievers something to do with content.

I can only speak for myself but I feel as if 2.1 should have been content for pve and pvp. Bioware does cartel market upgrades all the time. Essentially, Bioware is doing a cartel market upgrade and passing it off as cylical content releases. The consequence of this is everything that players were hoping for (FPs, WZs, Ranked system, OPS, etc) is now pushed back 2 or more months.

This would all be mute if someone would speak up at Bioware and say we plan on releasing X amount of FPs for 2.3 (assuming 2.2 is PvP) in addition to a new ops, etc.
Precisely, all we are getting as a guarantee are cartel market updates, not actual group-based content, whether it's PvE or PvP. Even if we do get a new FP in 2.1, it's nothing less than asinine of them to prioritize on promoting 2.1 as, first and foremost, customization in terms of cartel market. I do not exclude that 2.1 might have something more than cartel market customization, but I firmly believe it speaks volumes as to their priorities when they immediately start boasting about the cartel market updates and leaving everything else in the dark.

The devs definitely need to guarantee both raiders and pvp-ers that we are getting something in the near future, 2.0 content is far too shallow and simplified to keep people playing for months on end. Changing your characters' looks with the click of a button simply doesn't and won't cut it.
The prodigal son has returned ... some people are stuck with SWTOR, for better or worse.

instead of seeing the state of game I would reccommend people to look at the state they are in for giving so much hate over a purchase which won't even go past $10, and that just an aestethic.

I don't know that I would say we are being ripped off.. But I do see your point and your question is valid..

I don't have an answer for you.. Other than to say.. Do we know about everything that is going to be released?? None of us has read the patch notes.. The PTS is still closed so no info there.. I don't know..

I guess they figure, right after the release of 2.0 ROTHC, would be a good time to put out some fluff and perks.. I am glad they are showing artifice some love.. But, I am curious as to how these patterns are going to be acquired..

To be honest.. I don't have an answer for you.. We will most likely just have to wait and see.. Maybe there won't be such a long wait in between 2.1 and 2.2.. One can only hope..

Customization is definitely PART OF QOL. Maybe not the part you're looking for, but it's part of it.

Before even patch notes are released, you thought it was a sensible idea to QQ over what is not included in the patch. That makes no sense.

Customization is a QoL issue.
Nice try though.

Problem solved, Eric was mentioned at a different thread, that 2.2 will be delivered around 8 weeks after RotHC. So 2.1 shouldn't be seen as a content patch.

Dunno how often it has to be said though it does little good because some people are bound and determined to ignore reality no matter how many times it's pointed out to them ... but there is not and never has been and never will be anything got through cartel coins that you can't buy through other means in-game. The dyes, the Cathar unlock, and everything else will still be able to be purchased on the GTN with in-game currency if you prefer. It's not a Cartel-only update.

Are you not missing the fact that 2.2 comes out a few weeks after 2.1? Of which, we know nothing of what 2.2 will be. Maybe jumping the gun a bit?

whats the best part about this game?

i am a sw fan and would like to get into it, but i just think its a bland and sterile game aside from the story which i force myself to reach by rushing thru cheaply designed missions an encounters.

am i missing something?
