Defenders of the Republic, what Republic class do you play?

Personal Answer: I am currently rotating between my Guardian and my Commando.

Shadow.
Why fight everything along the way when you can just sneak past it and get to where you need to be quickly?

Also handy for grabbing the loot out of the chest behind the back of whatever happens to be guarding it.

Shield Specialist Vanguard Tank.
Only level 50 I have and have played him since launch so know the profession well. Have a lot of alts for other class's but mainly for crafting purposes.

Can't argue with those points!

My main is a shadow tank. Lately, I've been playing a smuggler, sage, and doing some partner-only characters that are imperial. I'm finding that I prefer ranged combat over melee, but I faithfully return to the shadow to run various dailies. I still need to do Makeb, but haven't found the motivation to get there yet!

Sentinel, my favorite class in the game

Ironically, my 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th favorites are all Imperials
Roswin - 50 Jedi Sentinel | Vaelin - 50 Sith Juggernaut | Kordis - 50 Sith Marauder | Vaelis - 50 Sith Assassin | Tylus - 50 Sniper
| Vint - 43 Mercenary | Kiden - 35 Vangaurd | Skavic - 22 Jedi Sage |

It's a little known fact that all but one of the Makeb dailies can be done by a Shadow without ever entering combat.

Yes, sometimes I wish I could just leave my friends behind when I run then them with them.
