Sorry, but there are people who play one character and not 137 ones. And it's not the sense of a game like this, to level one alt to 50 and than change immediately to the next level 1 alt and level this one to 50. If it would be, there wouldn't be any 50 / 55 endgame content. But there is. There is not enough, that's the problem.

Have you never bought a game and then decided it was not for you?
Nevertheless, the development of SW:TOR starting from the launch was a) embarrasing, b) ridiculous, c) sinking and d) foreseeable. This is Star Wars. And it made as a big "failure" as 99% of the other MMO's out there. So don't tell me it is normal for a game with that behemothian license.

Hmm, surprisingly, I've only been playing 1 character since RotHC launched, and am not complaining there isn't enough.

Have you completed S&V on SM AND HM? Have you gotten the highest PvP ranking? Have you gotten the highest tier of PvE gear and PvP gear? Have you maxed out rep with GSI and Makeb? Finished Macro/Seeker droid quests?

We're 3 (or 8) days in, and your complaining. That is YOUR fault, not BWs. There is DEFINITELY more than 3(8) days of content here. . .

Okay, so why are you still here? The Star Wars IP is hardly what it used to be. EA has NO experience with releasing an MMO, nor does Bioware -- so they made stupid mistakes and are trying to play catchup. I blame EA moreso because of their inherent greed and addiction to MTs, but it doesn't matter.

Don't enjoy the game anymore? Leave.

We will see how everlasting RotHC will be. I estimate 1-2 months. And then? That's the problem, "then" not "now".

Okay, and you KNOW that we won't get anymore content updates? Considering they've been sticking to the 6-8 week updates, and I'm sure there's at least 1 warzone waiting to be plopped in, and hopefully a new OPs in the work.

There will always be people who finish the content faster than they put it out. No ones fault but your own -- learn to enjoy it. And/or realize you're in the MINORITY of players who can progress extremely rapidly through the content.

I sort of see your side of this. I definitely do. I don't plan on leveling several alts like I did in Vanilla since there isn't any add'l class stories. I'm only leveling my main and one alt. And eventually it'll settle back down and there may be days I do not log on to this game.

It's the nature of the beast.

However, that time should be far and away if you plan on gearing up your companions with Elite and Ultimate Comms.

I am not in a minority. The minority is the kind of playerbase, that needs weeks to get 55 or prior to RotHC months to get one character to 50.

That's a minority. And BioWare acknowledged it.

Hi, this is the OP, and I respect the points you said about KOTOR, maybe I am hyping it up, I played it not too long ago and I still love it.

I felt I needed to post to reiterate, I by no means hate SWTOR or RotHC, in fact, I really do like them both, but for RotHC I expected more, so for me it fails to reach the expectations I set.

Now, I am not saying it is biowares fault, it probably is mine, but I want this game to be the best it can and that is why I made this and in other posts I have sugguested how it can be improved if you care to read through and find them.

Maybe the decisions made in KOTOR made no real difference to the final story, but they felt a lot more impactful. I understand it is difficult to do in an MMO, but I felt bioware could have done a better job of it, again this is all just my opinion and everyone is entitled to disagree, which I am sure they will.

Also, I have stated before, I don't mean to call it a failure, I made it a title so people would read, think of it like advertising, things over vastly over exaggerated in order to get people to read. So I apologize to anyone I misguided.

Anyhow, thank you all who have made reasonable and well thought out comments and have taken the time to reply. I will be keeping an eye on this thread and try to reply regularly

Uh, WE ARE 3 DAYS INTO THE OFFICIAL RELEASE OF THE EXPAC.

If you've completed ALL of the content -- I'd LOVE to know how. I'm point out that MOST people will NOT have it all completed within the next week or two. The true Minority are the people who will have it finished within one month and start complaining. A good portion of this playerbase will have it finished within 1.5-2months, but still be able to find enjoyment out of the game -- or, they'll be patient and wait for more content to be released.

Welcome to MMOs as a whole. AT LAUNCH, yes -- the majority of people finished content WAY faster than BW assumed they would. Hence all of the issues we've had, and WHY they're still playing catch-up.

I agree with most of what you said, but there is still a huge proportion of people that will level 1 or 2 lvl 55's really quickly, for example people in guilds, many people saved up all their dailys to hand in as soon as the early access began, myself included, then leveled as a group, doing this with all the experience boosts avaliable made leveling really quick, that isnt to say they didnt enjoy it, infact, it is more fun with a group of 4. It is just quick.

Try this for a game that makes a difference.

http://www.defiance.com/en/

A TV show and game mixed into one. What happens in the game makes a difference to the TV show's plot line in the future. That in itself is innovative to say the least. Strange as well considering this is made by Trion Worlds, the creators of Rift.
