The following proposal might be a working compromise between the players wishes (no limits!) and the publishers wishes (money!)...

Current situation:
Mission limit for everyone, regardless of account status: 25 missions.

Proposal:
F2P: new limit: 20 missions
preferred player (did at least spend 4$): new (and old) limit: 25 missions.
Subscriber: new limit: 30 missions.

Additional:
Cartel market item: "Mission Slot Upgrade".
Itemtype: Consumable (1)
Effect: Permanently increases mission limit of char by +5.

Legacy: 1 item as above, effective for all current and future chars of this legacy at 5x the single cost.

Bundle: do not apply to any packages.

anything to get more than 25 missions

Are you new player and want to get some bonuses (about 4 000 CC worth) ?
Played SW:TOR before and want to play it again?
There is the solution! For more info visit http://www.swtor.com/info/friends

Is everyone forgetting the dev post that explained the reason behind the limit was a performance one. That once a client attempts to track more that 25 missions there is a serious performance hit.
If that really is the case (and there is no real reason to lie on this) then I'd prefer for them not to implement any change to the current limit unless they can first address the performance issue.
