YOU'RE

PLAYING

To borrow an analogy from one of the posters on page one of the thread, your playing this game and then complaining about it amounts to going into KFC and pitching a fit because you can't get donuts. Period. End of story. Deal with it or ****. BW loudly and repeatedly proclaimed story as the central element and theme of this game from the beginning. Don't like it? Prefer something else?

Once again. It is not all about you and your position in game or life. This, is initially correct, for your first or third run through (which, by your narrow response, is where your mind is focuses). However, from a perspective of long term players that may have 3 of the same story line already, or 8 story lines completed, it is a very different perspective.

Which is why many of us are asking that you MYOB, or trying diligently to explain to the lesser expanded players the reality of this situation that does not, in any way, affect your gameplay and really has nothing to do with you beyond granting a choice to not partake.

In short, this conversation seems to be well above your level of play.
May the Schwartz be with you....

Ya need to give it a rest. Its not going to happen. It didn't hurt the game. Its a dead horse.

What you are really asking is for everyone to turn a blind eye and to allow those who chose to exploit an unintended game mechanic to continue to do so, or at the very least not have to worry about possible sanctions.

No. He is saying that the developers (the people who actually decide if something is a punishable exploit or not) are the ones to decide, say, act.... NOT YOU.

You can of course beat a dead horse all you like.. but at the end of the day... the horse will still be dead.
When you find yourself surrounded by hostile Clowns... always go for the "Juggler" first.

No, what I am asking for is what I said I was asking for. LOL What, now you get to rewrite our intent so as to fit it into your response? ;p

Maybe there should be a "make me a 50" button for the people that hate playing the game... But charge them accordingly. Lets say the average time to level to 50 for the casual gamer is maybe 3 months, that would be about $45 to cover that sub plan, that's what it can cost for their new lvl 50.... But to have this feature, you would have have to already have a 50 for each side, Rep and IMP than it can be a CM purchase once unlocked. Each toon is another $45 to unlock to 50...

Me, I prefer to take my time and enjoy the game, but others need everything NOW. so, in reality, I do not like my own suggestion... I feel we should all have to level up each toon, learn how to play that toon.

People reporting on exploits... GREAT JOB! Using an exploit is cheating and I will not respect those types...

So you belong to this crowd of "OMG, how cool it was if this SP game was MP, too !!!111eleven" people ?

They've been ruining my SP games experience for 10 years now.

I thought the peak was Sacred 2 : An MP game which is in its core nothing but an MP-server - on which SP players merely play an MP-game without other players. Nothing but that.

But Blizzardet. al.have shown that MP is going to replace SP no matter whether SP players want it, or not.

And THEN the MP crowd calls us SP players "whiner, go back to your games, noobs", most effectively ignoring that their demand was what forced us SP players to play MP games dressed as SP games.

Thank you very much for destroying gaming for me.

how did a thread about removing a bug that lead to an exploit degenerate into a MP vs SP gaming war? Just curious cuz i'm not going to read all 20 pages of reply.

@ OP: the blame rests partially on Bioware for not seeing a rather obvious exploit, and partially on the players who took advantage of the exploit. And it was an exploit if it allowed the players to gain and unintended advantage over others or over game mechanics.

By the way, t referring to any group of gamers as carebears is clearly insulting and trollish and you should feel bad.
