There is always somebody that does not like something. And let's be real... you've been negative since 1.4 patch affected your game performance (even though for many many others it caused no issues). You have been biased ever since and have had literally nothing positive to say about the game.

I do however wish you well and hope you find MMO bliss somewhere, becasue I do know you like the genere, just not the evolution of the genre.
Except he was talking about the p2w aspect of f2p, not f2p.

f2p has, surprisingly at least to me, been good for the game... except for that pesky p2w stuff they snuck in that has me worried if there's a next, bigger step coming.

Personally, I very much enjoy the proliferation of adaptive gear that the market has injected into the game. And the ability to buy legacy unlocks off the GTN has been great IMO. It has also simplifed my own personal mini-game of playing the GTN for wealth accumualtion in game since cartel items make for good economy dynamics.

This has nothing to do with that which I was replying.

I am addressing a system that can circumvent IN GAME MECHANICS for cash. THAT dumbs down the game and gaming in general. If you have an alternative system to PAY YOUR WAY TO SUCCESS via CASH. You take away from the sense of accomplishment of those that have the skill and time to play with in the rules set. You are usually more astute than your reply above. You missed completely what I was saying and what/who I was responding too.

There's nothing to get over. The game community as a whole will be a better place when you, THC, and the other QQ crowd move on to your next game of the month.

Of course there is. EA is "boiling the frog". How much can they get away with all for short term profits. This is "just one of their properties" it doesn't have to succeed long term if they can milk to maximum effect all they can in the short term. It can die on the vine like WAR for all EA cares ( and it will ).

You're now grasping at straws. You must be getting a little desperate to 'win' the forum minigame in your last few days of access.

Work for it.

You need to *grind* the forum mini game to get your sense of accomplishment on your way out the door.

Do you feel it? Or are you completely missing the point of the minigame?

Riiiiight. When all dissenting voices are silenced and you can have your "happy fun time world with no thought".

Assume much? Yes ... yes you do. But, then all you "white knights" are mind readers too. Right?

NO Urael. I completely get your complaint. AND I disagree with it. The Cartel Market is good for the game and good for the players. It also is NOT P2W, no matter how many times you stomp your feet and claim it is.

It does not dumb down anything. It simply changes the dynamics of the game to some degree. You have shown that you are old school and intolerant to change. I get that. But don't expect others to agree with you just becasue you pronounce it so.

Good luck in your future adventures, wherever they take you.

I see you're now an MBA ( at least ), and have some inside knowledge of EA / Bioware, and their plans for the future.

Before your're shown the door, do give us more of your infinite wisdumb.

Your arguement style is an attempt to discredit and carefully pick what you wish to address. This shows a lack of intelligence in your debate style as it shows how transparent you are and out matched. You attempt to fabricate an arguement out of nothing. Who is "attempting to win"? *scoff*

I was not addressing the cartel market to date. I was addressing the growing casual voice that wants to have ways to circumvent game mechanics VIA that cartel market because they have not the skill or the time to actually play the game as designed. That is what I was addressing. While that may not be the classic definition of P2Win it is part of the path to P2win. If one can simply pay a sum of cash to avoid some mechanical aspect of the game it does in fact dumb the game down. Because you "pronounce" the contrary also does not make it so.
