From what you said in the OP, you asked them whether deleting a name and then remaking the character and the name would be available.

They confirmed this, which is true.
The issue you have is that they have banned certain names which they are not alllowed to use contractually.
Such as unoriginal names that plagiarize the SW universe. Like Bane. Or Skywalker. Or Solo.

Names they are not copyrighted to use, or allow to use.
Ive just deleted one of my champions with a name, just recreated another one 20 seconds later with the exact same name.

Maybe if you werent so rude to the support, which by the sounds of what you have said to people in this thread, you obviously were. Someone obviously hasnt taught you any manners whatsoever.

Its like putting your name as "IHateJews" and then wondering "**** WHERES MY NAME".

While I understand the frustration of losing names due to events outside your control. I also understand names are very important.

The names in that link are neither iconic or epic, they are just a bunch of overused and very unimaginative names that you should have expected to lose when moving servers. It does suck to lose a name you have grown accustomed to using, but coming up with something new and original isn't really that difficult.

No, I wouldn't want either of those names. I much prefer coming up with my own names rather then using overly used and unimaginative names. I never resort to using commonly overused names when making new characters for mmorpgs or rpgs in general.

Ah, right.. I get the placeholders concept now. Of course they were. Do you think anyone would ever be able to get THOSE names without taking them right away? What you fail to realize is that names is important to me and they're part of what makes me want to level another character. You may not remember playing with "Fgoffêe", but you're remember meeting Reaper. If I have to explain this to you, then it's not really work the typing.

What gives you the RIGHT to pick 8 names that you "like" when you arent planning to play any of them till your first 50 is complete?

What about other people that might want to play a class with one of the names you currently have growing dust on a lvl1?
And yes, i'd remember meeting Reaper just because of a name?

Its the deeds we do in the game that define us, not the names we choose for ourselves.
You know who i remember? Raaz, PonyBoyGoblin, Annekin, Jaidar, Anthony, Phatina, Xenos, Kiera. I could go on.
None of them have names like "Ravage" and "Titan".

But the ONE THING i remember from this game?
Was being part of the FIRST RECORDED Group taking down SD-0 on Coruscant, in the first 36 Hours of early access.
I barely play with any of them anymore, ive not even thought about them until this thread but thats what i remember.
People that made an impact on my gameplay by being players that were polite, got together and actually accomplish something.

What gives me the right to take all those names? Pre-ordering the Collector's Edition for early access. I paid for it.

I remember when the forced merges happened, I lost a few names.......

Dark times.

But then, I got over it due to the fact that its just a freakin' game, and my whole life doesn't revolve around my character names. So I got over myself quickly, put some more thought into it, and came up with diffrerent ones I liked. It involved a few days of thought, I didn't want to rush such a decision, but in the end, I was happy with my choices.
