Depends on your armour I think, It can kill you with one hit at level 30, and probably for quite a few levels after. But by level 43, if you've got a great set of armour then maybe.
Peace can be found, above all passions. Through passion, I may gain strength.
Through strength, I may gain power. Through power, I may gain victory.
But for every enemy fallen, a new foe rises.
For every chain broken, new chains bind me. Only the Force can set me free.

you can kill world boss' by yourself, but by the time you can do it it's not worth doing it for you. I've tried as a full blackhole geared lvl 50 shadow tank to kill some of the lower lvl world boss' just for fun, and you can do it pretty easily until you get to about alderaan. All the world boss's before then won't be able to hit you and you should be doing enough damage to kill them before they enrage. some boss's like the one on coruscant have 1 shot kill abilities that will kill you no matter what lvl you are but asides from that it can be done.

After i realized that I could do it, I would sometimes kill them to help out players on a planet who wanted it for the weekly, and couldn't find enough players of their lvl for a full group, or to send gear to my alts. the time commitment wasn't worth it for the gear though, running dailies would get me credits faster to just buy them the gear they needed instead of trying to wait on random drops
