hello

why do i need a tactical advantage as operative to play lethality?
the sniper don´t!
so why should i make it more difficult to play that tree ?
is there some point i am unaware off?

Your Cull doesnt have a cooldown.

2.9 sec cooldown?? the global cd is 1.5 ...
i would trade that in anytime - since all the other skills are at the same cd you are still screwed with your rotation.
you have to move into melee to generate a ta to use your ranged skills?
sniper lethality plays a lot smoother

Because TA is an Operative mechanic. If you want to play Lethality like a sniper, play a sniper. :P

If you don't like the way Lethality feels as an Operative, go with Concealment. The question I have always had about Operative Lethality that bugs me is why it's the only operative tree that doesn't have a mechanic other than shiv that generates TA.

you can use hidden strike.

Concealment doesnt have another TA generator unless you count that proc which is hardly counting.

here we have a perfect example of: "stating the obvious"

its not a privelege to use that mechanic.
i have both but why should one class have a harder time to do the same thing??
the other classes can use the right tree all in the same way without any handycaps.
if you dont get my point why do you answer at all??
and yes its hard to generate TA only with shiv - and thats the whole problem i got.
and plz explain why sniper should have it easyer

I only heal on my Op or play Concealment for dailies since I can skip everything with Sneak refreshing upon exiting stealth. Otherwise, I DPS on my Sniper as whatever spec I want. Been playing mostly Lethality lately in ops, though. No reason for me to ever bring my Op for DPS to one of our ops. I have a Mara if I want to melee DPS and they are much better. Even still, my guild hates melee and it's usually better to just bring my Sniper.

Operative Cull has no cd, and does over double the damage of sniper Cull.

And Operative can heal and stealth, etc..
