It is... it's huge I think. But it's going to be harder to hit 3 or 5k quickdraw crits now with the change in Cheap Shot.

Yeeeah... It's a proc .... for a proc free skilltree till then... So the only way to keep a simple and proc free rota is df/eng hybrid now.

Full DF is ok for PvP now but hybrid is much better for PvE.

I'm not sure wether it's better to go for the three ponts accuracy in sharp shooter and leave sabotag and hot pursuit untouched, it might be better on the dummy (especially since accuracy has become so "expensive"), but in the Flashpoints I treid I was very happy to have two more mechanics for energy regeneration while changing targets...

Thoughts/Ideas?

In FP? Really?
FP are about trash so you can just spam your "Shrap Bomb" and never go low on energy.
Second:
For FP (and OPs) go for "Utility Belt" and "Flash Powder". With all the buffs your "Thermal Grenade" is a deadly skill from now and "Flash Powder" is a great skill for many encounters. The tanks will love you. Throw the grenade, place your scambling field, let the guardian use his new shield and sage drop ae heal and your group enters god mode.

Atm many of your abilities had their energy cost reduced. SB const only 10 energy, VS only 16 and SC only 11. You gain energy back from contingency charges, crit dot ticks, illegal mods and your 1,5min cd "Cool Head" so you never run out of energy with or without "Sabotage".

Go for accuracy skill and put the points in crit rating if you energy reg is to low.

Rotation is simple just like on Live.
Hybrid:
SB - SC - VS - WS - anything else - WS

anything else means...
XS Freighter
Sabo Charge
Smugglers Luck + Charged Burst
Speed Shot
refresh Flourish Shot

Use your Illegal Mods for WS - Sabo - SS - WS Combo. It ist your biggest burst.

For full DF just replace Shock Charge with Hemo Blast and use Quickdraw in the "anything else" time slot.

Or roll into safety.. remember you are immune to single target attacks and (from my raiding in the pts) makes you also immune to AE attacks. The roll can save you many times. Plus it's wonderful for Engineering PVE DPS in some boss fights

im liking how its getting more gadget oriented in sabo,
to me a cd on my charges is a big deal.

I tried the 3 hybrid, DF, and sharpshooter. I only speak for PvE :

I think it is the worst now.... because you have enougn energy regen with alacrity and lower cost, so you don't need the sabotage's charge anymore (even if does a nice amount of damages, it is more PvP burst than constant dps)
Also shock charge is quite useless, you really don't need it... it's not a bleed so it don't increase wounding shot and it don't give energy regen. And if you look, a Speedshot or aiming shot deals more damage...

The proc of quickdraw is really insane. Because it have 45% to proc on EACH dmg from wounding shot. wounding shot deals dmg 3 times, and we are using 2 weapons so it even have a chance to hit more. So it is about 95% proc chance.
Concussion is more usefull than you think, because you can pre-dot a mazed ennemy for a burst, and you can use you shrapnell without thinking "no aoe, there are mazed ennemies"
Hotwired defense is also good for some fight who are damaging all the raid. Defensive screen already protect a lot, it will protect more .
Incendary mines is the more useless of new talents.... but it still have a nice 70% slow and it increase dodge duraction by 1 sec. So it's nice if you have to tank after an XS for example.

I didn't saw it at start but look at the new trickshot... it refresh like all the time !
aim shot => trickshot => [ quickdraw (if below 30%) => trickshot (if below 30%)] => speed shot => trickshot => charged burst x2 (-5 energy each) => trickshot
Also quick aim is not a proc anymore, so you can start with the aim shot

And for a PvP guy.... stay low and heads up, you are like immune to control (+ sprint)...




I don't really know wich is the best, but I really think these full sharp or DF are better than our old hybrid... especially to dps a boss

Are you sure Shock Charge is not counting as a bleed? I thought it still was.

Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the points in Arsonist vs. Cold Blooded. will be interesting to see hybrid vs full df parses and what crit ratings are required now.

Yes I'm sure.

Checking it is really easy : use only chock charge on your target, and use wounding shot.
If you show all your damage (or look into the combat log), you won't see any bonus damage
