Actually, I think they look pretty awesome, except for the headpieces.
But who cares about those? Bring Your Own Headpiece, or Hide Headpiece.

I'm actually a little jealous of the Jedi Knights, they get a short skirt! I hope moddable light and medium variations of that chestpiece will be available on both sides!

why does the new trooper armor look like it has a Alarm Horn in its forehead, or is it some kind of doctor headgear, in any case it looks ridiculous

The new Trooper gear, specifically the Arkanian gear...looks terrible. Its a helmet from the Fallout series with a mini radar dish on its head, but the rest of the armor is just a blank slab of metal, no textures or anything.

The Imperial gear is a joke for the most part...or at least almot all their helms are....not sure wha tBW was thinking with a lot of these. Hey I'm a fan of The Fifth Element too....but we don't need armor based on that movie or some sort of demented joker / Grenlin hat for Sorcs....

Most of the new sets look really cool to me, although a few helmets look pretty terrible.

I'm quite jealous of the Jedi gear, since I haven't leveled any Jedi characters yet.

Again, we have various adaptive armor so most of us will most likely remove the mods and put it in our favorite armor.

The set bonus really must belong to the armoring. If not, there will be rage and anger.
