PVP on a PVE server involves going into a warzone or designated area's to do pvp. I say if people want world pvp, roll on a pvp server and be done with it. I have avoided Illum like the plague because A) I dislike the whole way they have done the reputation. B) The items I have seen people wearing look bloody awful. In fact some of the items that the art department of this game have made make me think they were either stoned or VERY drunk.

I do not mind pvp personally, however I would rather pick and choose where I fight and if there are any pve objectives in a pvp area I just do not do them. I may lose out on something, but what choice do I have if the developers choose to implement pve quests in a pvp area?

I will ask a couple of questions though for anyone who can answer. What is a pvp server for if not for world pvp? Should they keep world pvp to a pvp server rather than to a pve server? If you had a choice, would you prefer to roll to a pvp server if they set it up so world pvp was a major factor (Rep based pvp objectives as you level, Pvp quests that gain you exp from killing other players say killing 10 players nets you 10k exp and the quest hand in gives you more, etc etc)?

I think everyone can see that your attitude speaks for itself. It would be pointless to make a qualitative comment about this myself, and there's no point to digging up other objectionable things said by you.

This is nothing more than a poisonous disregard for other players.

The volume and severity of the abuse and uncooperation of many PvP-proponents regarding an issue so simple as a minor PvE Quality Of Life tweak (that would make the in-game Events fair for all of the strict PvE-only players) reflects directly on how these same people are treating other players in-game, especially in the contexts when they are flagged for PvP. I am quite comfortable suggesting that all PvP activity (including warzones, PvP flagging, PvP vendors, etc.) be quarantined to the PvP servers where they belong...

The wretched, vehement, poisonous, personal attacks and insults and pompous disregard towards others that opponents to this thread have spat onto its pages from the very start of this thread should be enough to get them not only permanently banned from this thread.

You sir are very funny and very delusional. You think by taking pvp away from the games makes a game better. Oh please give me a break.

I'm a pve player but even I know better than that. People are people no matter their playstyle. I have seen rude, hateful and arrogant pve players who think their playstyles are the only ones that count. They forget the pvp players and the rp players pay to play the game as well.

Thankfully bw knows this and will not do this as this is counter productive to their game. I have met some wonderful and awesome pvp players who are very dear friends of mine and I love playing with.

Please quit speaking for me. I have no problems with the pvp players nor do their play style removed from the game. they have as much rights as anyone else.

. You can choose what you want to do nothing is being forced on you. There are times I group with a friend and heal him and so that flags me for pvp. I accept what I did and as long as I am with him I don't worry about it.

Do I wish bioware would fix that yes but until they do I will not act like a child and throw a temper tantrum because I want my way and my way only. I know how to compromise something you may want to learn to do.

You have the nerve to sit here in this forum and comment about how some people have responded to you but yet when someone calls you on it you think they are wrong. Well sir you are wrong and it's about time someone told you that you are wrong.

Quit making a big scene over something someone else does when you have done the same thing over and over. You are doing the same thing only you want to ignore you are doing that.

Good day to everyone.

If you find that offensive I shudder to think what you would clasify your own posts as.

In any case, that is hardly offensive... That shows that I liked and admired someone's creative thinking in making a collage of their memories.

I would say that I'm very funny OR very delusional, certainly not both. Delusional people are never funny.

You may openly mock my idea (rather than criticize it) but at this point the idea is completely serious. What better way to protect players from unwanted PvP activity on PvE servers than to completely remove PvP from there? Imagine how much more enjoyment thousands of PvE players would get out of SWToR if they didn't have to worry about getting PvP-flagged all the time. Imagine what Carrick Station could have on the PvE servers, in place of the PvP terminal and PvP vendors!!!

I have not made a single personal insult in this thread... if you don't like my weighted criticism of people's undignified disregard of other players then it's just too bad for you. I'm the one who's most civil on this thread; and now that you've also thrown hefty personal insult at me, you're just in the crowd with the rest of the vehement lacking folk.

The idea of compromise is out of the context of this request. It's nothing more than a simple Quality Of Life request in consideration of PvE players during special Events such as the Gree Event, which provide a very short period of time in which to earn the Trophies which purchase the exclusive rewards.

Maybe they should. I would like to point out that 95%+ of the content of the game appears to be PvE based. Aside from warzones, there are 2 PvP areas which are mostly avoided (by PvE players), and then optional flagging (optional when it works right).

If you don't like my complaining, don't read my post. (same argument about avoiding PvP missions/areas)

I would fully support PvP players in attaining more content. I wouldn't criticize them for asking for more.

Oh, and you are complaining right now about my post, therefor I see you complaining. (yes, I know its childish, but its true)

Hey go visit the Patch Notes and go through the new-feature listing of all 8 major updates, and as you do so, make a list of what major content was added in each patch for PvP and for PvE. I think you will feel sheepish once you realize, that PvP has not been neglected at all since launch. There is literally not one thing for PvP players to complain about, they are being literally showered with new content and features.

And get over the misconception that every new addition of something non-PvP requires an addition of something PvP... the very nature of the game is PvE because of historical storylines and companion storylines, etc.
