Ok going to try setting your monitor manually

Click Start
Control Panel
hardware and sound
device manager
go to monitor and right mouse click on update driver software
select browse my computer
pick from list
untick show compatible hardware
select standard monitor types then select digital flat panel (1920x1080 60Hz)

Note: - you are only running at 1024 x 768 at present ? why ? if you want to maintain this setting select (1024x768 60 hz ) if you want to maintain this resolution.

I gather you can now run at 1920 x 1080 in windows ?

Run the downloaded swtor setup over the top of the existing install , we need to find the client_settings file now

Edit - computer restart would be wise to ensure setting is loaded.

I think you may have to uninstall completely due to sp1 and the monitor not being not being installed the first time and then do re-install but i would recommend finding the folder called assets and copying to somewhere else, use the setup you downloaded to install again , but when it starts to download stop it and copy the assets folder back, this will should save alot of downloading. It may say it is downloading heaps but it should recognize the good assets and skip them.

You can also try installing the bulk install from the disks again when it finishes run the downloaded installer over the top and stop it and copy the original assets folder back to save alot of updating.
