Why do they always give to the PVP crowd. So unfair. I don't want to spend hours trying to get a thing cause I get ganked over and over by idiots. I hate PVP. I play on a PVE server for a reason, so why do they keep forcing PVP sht on those that don't want it?

I'm disgusted.
Get over it. Pvpers are forced to do pve related content if they want to participate in the reputation system. Same difference. If you don't like it then don't do it, there are other players that welcome pvp. If you just want to unlock access to the operation then I believe there are quests in the southern shelf that are not in a pvp flagged area.

This is another "steller" example of how EAware "understands" what it's customer base wants. EAware goes out of it's way to anger it's target audience YET AGAIN. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. You can't make this stuff up; it writes itself.

This is not "PvP" it's a gank/grief fest. FFA is ALWAYS a gank/grief fest. This should have been faction vs. faction. Nothing like having to watch out for your "allies fragging you". Way to go EAware.

Like I said in another thread this FFA pvp zone is a direct result of the severe faction imbalance Ilum had in the past where imps outnumbered pubs 3 to 1 and camped them at their base grinding valor. It's not biowares fault everyone rolled imps, if they made it faction based the same thing would happen again...imps ganging up and outnumbering the pubs.

Cause no dark sided jedi knight would ever jump anyone and thats just doing a little role play.

It is indeed World PVP where everyone is against everyone. You wanted WPVP there it is. Everyone is available for PVP. It's about as open as you can get. I hope you trust your so called buddy.

Let the chaos begin.

Leave it to Bioware to make something worse when making "improvements" or "adjustments".

That's just stupid.
Good idea, I am going to go look for pup on pub fights so I can gank them when they are down

Your counter argument is falacious. You ASSUMED "I wanded WPvP". I am neutral in regards to desire. WPvP as it is "classically" known is "factional". Given that there are NO CONSQUENCES people are just acting like a buch of people that wear their posteriors for hats. Gank, Grief, Rise and Repeat ... soooooo much fun ... do we need to bring back the grief and gank thread again?

Also, let it be known that you all are protected by the forum rules. We are not allowed to counter more strongly than this, yet all of your attempts to insite go unchecked. Well done forum griefing ... well done.

It might be a big deal on RP servers and I'm not judging that but as a non-RP'er it's not crossing my mind who I'm fighting. People can wear whatever they like these days so the only thing that differentiates for instance an operative from a scoundrel is the name next to his/her avatar. I will just quickly glance at it to determine which abilties I'm up against, never am I considered the faction aspect because I've probably already forgotten if I'm on Imp or Pub at the time Hence, from a lore perspective I don't see it as a big problem. But then again, I've never been much for story in the first place so I might not be the right person to ask.

The problem is that you're more likely to run in to people from your own faction and in the event that you have a group of gankers on your faction or you arent particulary interested in PvP it can quickly become a problem. The whole thing is advertised as some form of PvP/Hybrid event though (regardless of not every mission being labeled as PvP) so I guess it's something we simply have to live with.

I've managed to do the 3 "daily" missions on 3 different characters without being flagged for pvp once.

Yay me.
