I cant really think of any event type update thats ever been on the pts or for that matter had a public test release on any other mmo.. Kind of defeats the whole point

Ilum failed once due to lack of testing. Unless you experienced just how bad it was you, you cant really comment. You think that the lag in warzones is bad now - its NOTHING compared to what it was like on Ilum.

If Bioware had an excellent record in pushing out patches, this wouldn't be much of an issue but they don't. So it IS an issue. The dark side of the force clouds this one

i think the community would much rather have the content we have now working 100% rather than see new stuff with new bugs added to the game

I am hoping for the best on Tuesday for us ,,, what I hope is they have got it to gather and will be setting a new standard in how new content is tested with some very impressive patches coming yet and this is just a start of a new way to put out new stuff for software ..

Or

We will get hit with some of the worest bugs yet ... I can't wait to see ether way and hope its the impressive way ...

For me the problem with Ilum it's that bike, takes 5 minutes to reach South or North area, it's terrible..

O I remember in 40 Man pvp matches even the best of PC you couldn't move much or not all and it lagged so bad well lets just say I would log out tor the nite ..

Then again if you want to see world class event lagfests try GW2.. The prob with events is no matter who or what the MMO they always seem to get caught out by the demand on the day.. WHY - its not rocket science.

Keeping my fingers crossed. It's not the "content" I'm worried about, it's the re-occurring bugs that pop back in, and unresolved bugs from 1.4 will be the first things I'll see as soon as the update launches.

I'll be looking for disappearing taxis, companion lightsaber bugs, checking to see if my companion's health drops after mounting/loading an area, checking if unify colors works for me and my companions.

And then try the new content.

You can take companion ls bug out of the list but you never know when it will come back ^^
