Wildskull
OK, I posted this here: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=88942 too, but in case it's a dead thread, I'm copy pasting: Holy crap, I am so glad that I found this! My main is a Jedi Sage, but on all of my Jedi / Sith characters, I had been stacking Willpower. Seemed to make lore sense to me. In any case, my highest level of these "mistake characters" is a level 20 Marauder. For quest rewards, I usually ignored most of the gear, since it didn't have Willpower! and when drops with WP showed up, I snatched them up. So, is there any way to fix this? Or should I just delete the character and start over? Thanks in advance, dudes.
Mozivicus
No need to delete the characters, even if they're in the 20s. Simply visiting the GTN and RE-gearing (properly) through green tier items will right your ship. For future reference, click your codex to identify each class' main stat. For instance, your marauder to mentioned, he uses strength....not willpower.
Wildskull
Ha, yeah, I know that now. Is the GTN supremely overpriced or will it be simple enough?

Mozivicus
Someone wrote a nice guide on it. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=88942 The GTN can be reasonable for low ish level greens. People will usually list them at less than default price....which still puts it above what they would get if they just vendored the item(selling it to an NPC). Even just buying a couple pieces at level will help. Heck, if your stats are that far askew from your intended main stat, it might actually help to buy gear more than a few levels below your level. Then, get out questing or run a flashpoint to catch up your gear level. Edited February 8, 2013 by Mozivicus

Cleet_Xia
You can also just go with the white level gear from whatever armor venders are found on the planet your toons aare questing on. It will be a little rough for a bit, but you'll get appropriate gear from mission rewards pretty fast.
