Actually I agree. But to put it into context, I was refuting the idea that stating 95% of replies in this thread meant 95% of the player base as a whole. The other side of the same coin.

I think overall this is surmountable. While still a grind, I would rather have something that feels emersive than something that is nothing more than a straight hamster-wheel-skinner-box grind.
Again, I feel their system had too many kinks to be immersive. People phasing in and out, vanishing all the time. I wish I could suggest a better method, but honestly I thought the old fashioned method of the Sunwell dailies handled it better. The environment changed (not by much) and it was permanent. For everyone.

And don't get me started on the length of the grind... never again I say. If they're to bring in more dailies to SWtor, they better be bloody entertaining. If something requires a person to revisit the same spot again and again, it better feel organic as well, and not be packs of mobs waiting for me to exterminate them.

Please check the post confirming its bugged on ToFN on the customer service forum!

Remember just because it works on one server doesnt mean it works on all servers.
Oreli? Assumed that, when EAware breaks the game, it gets broken for everyone. Hope they fix that soon anyway, had it before they changed the quest around and it was incredibly annoying.

So more fake content? This is just a time sink in the form of something rewarding but adds nothing new too the game.

Indeed more than one companion will allow the large silent majority of solo players out there more options to explore in their game. You would have motivation to gear grind for multiple companions which keeps people occupied and subscribed. Everyone wins. Hopefully this can be worked in through the legacy or new rep system.

1.7 looks interesting and I think its fair to say SW TOR is a healthily evolving mmorpg.

To continue beating a dead horse:
They should be capitalizing on the unique quirks in SW. There's nothing in this reputation system that brings to life a unique aspect of SW. Minigames like pazaak, dejarik and sabaac are found on in this universe so why not capitalize on that?

Assuming they can come up with a compelling implementation, these games bring people together, can be played in a short time for busy folks (or in marathon chess like sessions), and can make the game world feel more Star Wars-ish. They can even be expanded to include tournaments. How about an iron-man contest where you have to master all 3 games like a Grand Slam tournament? It all happens at a huge Nar Shaddaa casino, players can tune in from all over the galaxy, place bets, and if you win you get your own pleasure barge, notoriety, among many other insane prizes.

In a similar vein, I wouldn't be surprised if they introduce a raid boss encounter where you play the pieces on a dejarik table, sort of like the chess boss in Kharazan.

As i said. It's a really non important feature. Nor new. If they want reputation it should exist since day one. What kills this game is the imbalance and keep doing the same thing other games do.

After some play people get bored. There's nothing to do on all those worlds. Where's the real fight rep against empire? On controled sport like warzones? I don't think so, lame.

Those changes usless, the game will keep the same. Perhaps they should put their effort on bugs. There's codex bugged since day one. How hard is to remove a codex entry that do not exist?

As I said before, i prefer they work on imbalance than all those garbage things and cartel items.

I've been a supporter of this game since launch and for me it's how things are content wise after makeb,if i stay or go.My biggest pet peeve is the look of gear.

i'm fine with them adding a REP Grind if they plan to expand on it at a later date, but if its something that i cant solo on my time and dont need a group for and dont involve space missions than I won't even touch it.So 1.7 isn't looking that grand at all.........

Like many have said it's more of a slight of hand to distract us instead of just working on and giving us what we want and deserve.
