I always said that I liked the last Star Trek movie so much, because it felt like a Star Wars movie should be. So I am excited to see J.J. Abrams actually directing Star Wars.

Nothing subjective about it. Phantom Menace sucked harder than a collapsed star.

As to the fact that he is a huge Star Wars fan....so what, so am I, does that mean I could direct a Star Wars movie? I think not.
Multiple award winning Director, I guess the various academies out there don't share your opinion random internet hater #30428302.

Collapsed stars can be quite beautiful... you see even that is subjective.

i think your the only one that liked it......

it had about 10-15 minutes of redeeming action, Maul lightsaber duel.
The story even though it gave it an introduction Anikan (crybaby) skywalker, was hurting..

not the guy for the job. Bad choice. Don't think he's shot a film I like.
... the search continues for an actual Star Wars MMO - your stories are weak old man... not to mention races, bugs, quests, features, pvp and on and on and on

The rebooted Star Trek Movie was IMO the best Star Trek movie made, with maybe the exception of Wrath of Khan... The rest of the star trek franchises while entertaining was one big cheese ball fest.

I'm glad Abrams is the Director, means there might be hope that the movie will actually be good... The only movie that was decent was Empire Strikes Back, the rest of the movies were cheesy at best...
I could not have said it any better myself... But I will say I do think EP IV (A new Hope) was also decent. Empire was the best for sure though, because its the one Lucas did NOT direct. I also agree with your Star Trek view totally....
