I tried applying the patch like you suggested. It didn't work, but the "installation" process was weird. It literally only told me to restart my computer then it apparently were done, maybe it's already inside of the Windows 7 drivers so it doesn't need to be installed?

It was a good suggestion though, I really thought it'd work.

I honestly think it's an asus driver issue, hence why their are patches for red alert etc, but I think they are no longer supporting it which is why there is no newer drivers then the 2 they released.

So don't be surprised it's not fixed by tommorow

Well you were right, it's not fixed. Actually I'm not really surprised. Anyway I guess I should either get used to the bad performance or use the onboard sound card, if it's driver issues then "switching" the sound card would obviously work. But I can't stand the horrid sound so I'm going to get used to the performance.

Thanks for the help OwenBrooks, the issue still isn't resolved but I can't really bother with it anymore.

You could try the drivers from this individual, who went in and made changes to them and the other software that fixed stereo upmixing, and all kinds of latency bugs caused by the crappy drivers:

From reading what he put in the descriptions, this might fix your issues.

You could also try Daniel K's Asus Xonar drivers, updated for Win7 and Win8 use: http://danielkawakami.blogspot.com/

Malkavier,
I tried installing the xonar unified drivers, wow what a hassle.. "Please insert your xonar device"
"Can't find the sound card" "Sound service isn't running". Got it working though, anway I started SWTor up with the Windows XP SP3 compatability mode checked on, guess what? :P

If you guessed "no sound" then you are correct! You guys don't have to try anymore I just give up, thanks for the help anywho and for trying.
