Not at all...in fact, I think your 1/10th is far too generous. We know what they're telling us...and I honestly don't expect more than details to pop up going forward. I think what they've revealed, IS the meat of the "expansion".

Yeah I did read it . Then just re-read it , I take it the first part about $40 is your fantasy swtor xpac ? Or is that comparing to another games xpac ? It's very confusing read and I replied saying that we already get new Op's , WZ's and OP's as part of our subscription , maybe even things people now buy off the CM help towards that too. So it doesn't matter if we don't get lots of those missions on day one as end-game isn't affected so they will come to us regardless of the RotHc expansion. Is that clearer ?

Cheers,

BadOrb.

Yeah. You still didn't get it.
Here's what I did

List of what $40 buys you
List of when $10 SHOULD buy you
List of what we are actually getting.

I was simply pointing out that for people who say "it's only a $10 expac" that point can be misleading, because IMO the average consumer would look at that and say "Oh it's a 1/4 the price so it must have 1/4 the stuff"

But in reality, it's a 1/4 the price and comes with 1/10 the stuff, so calling it a $10 expac is kind of misleading as it doesn't come with enough stuff to be worth ANY money in my opinion (it should be free) and it certainly doesn't deserve the EXPAC title. Maybe "adventure pack" or "that planet we said was super cool and awesome and free"

It doesn't really matter when they post the info or how much they post. It is obvious that you, just like me, already bought it. The whole thing is moot now; it could be awesome or it could be like 1 instance, it's all the same and too late to do anything about it.

Other games expacs? How about the last 4 expacs I bought for the other 2 MMO's I play. They all come with a comparable bundle. It's not a "fantasy" it's what other companies have offered at that price point. My point is that calling it an "expac" at all is disingenuous at best and right down farcical at worst.

I guess I'm confused because I don't understand where your massive $40 expansion came from. I've never played a game with that large of an expansion.

Actually it's technically a $20 expansion. Which puts it $0.01 above the price of the entire game at Best Buy, and that includes a month of game time.

They can call it what they want so can you and you are going off on your tangent fantasy $40 xpac again. There isn't a set in stone industry standard that BioWare must adhere to. I would still like to know what this mystical $40 xpac you are talking about is ?

It is an expansion it is small yes , but it's only $10 for subscribers , would I have liked +10 levels , yes , with 2 or 3 planets , yes please , but alas that's not the case. Still if we get 1 planet every 18 months I will be happy , bring on the next xpac level 60 here we come. Mind you we will all be here arguing over what an xpac is and what isn't still.

Cheers,

BadOrb.

O right , thanks for explaining , I didn't quite know what you mean't . That's fine those are those games and this is this game. It's not farcical , I rather get this +5 leveled mini xpac than wait another 8 months for a larger one , by which time I would have probably left this game. I don't mind them calling it an xpac as it is one.

Cheers,

I take offense to that. I can justify the purchase by what it's saying it'll be vs what I've received in the past year. I find it ironic that people seem to complain more about this than they did the Cash Shop...at least I'm getting new "stuff to do" with this investment.
