[Synthweaving] Crafting Custom gear with mods installed?

I have Synthweaving and I can craft lots of custom gear but they are all empty. I noticed someone selling [Force Initiate's Sash] on the GTN and they had mods in them already, they required level 17, but I make the same thing requiring level 15 but nothing in the lots......
Does anybody know what's going on here?

You can buy some mods that are not Bind on Pickup but Bind on Equip. With these you can mod empty custom gear and still sell them, since they would be still bind on equip.

I just started doing this also. I'll make an orange piece of gear on my armormech toon, then take an armoring and mod (of appropriate level) that my cybertechs crafts and then go get an enhancement that my artificer crafted and install them in the orange piece.

Only bad thing about it is, it cuts your market size down. Some gear is worn by just heavy or medium armor wearers and some is worn by 2 advanced classes. So putting mods in there limits who could buy it ( and use it).

I guess I'll see how it turns out soon
