Just read something puzzling in the faqs for it, it says you will chose a side to fight on as you take on the hutt cartel, errr say what now.

As a player, you will be forced to take a side as you earn new weapons, armor, abilities and more.

See this is part of the problem. There is a big difference between boot-licking and cow-towing. I too hope this is what some have been waiting for in the game. I too plan to purchase Makeb, But not until after we have more concrete evidence of whats in store. Difference is also I do not like how they went about this.

Well, technically, everytime you load up your character screen you 'choose a side' by loading up an Imperial or a Republic character. I'm pretty sure that's what that means.

Oddly worded though since it's not the START of a game, it's just a continuation of characters people have already chosen.

Ye, its worded in such a way to shout neutrality.

It IS possible that they could finally introduce an official neutral faction through the Hutts. However that's just plain speculation - hopefully we'll find out more details soon (tm)

i took as in the new story we chose to fight against the hut cartel or we fight with them.

also people have been talking about new playable race yet in the email i just got about this ex there was no mention no pics nothing so i wouldn't count on it being in this ex. but wouldn't that be some **** if it is but its only unlockable from the online store??
