1st Expansion - Rise of the Hutt Cartel

I'm personally waiting for more details.

My preferred content is endgame. I hate leveling, I really do. so, I spend my days raiding and pvping. However, the design philosophy for endgame in TOR is terrible. The content is good, dont get me wrong, i think the actual design of the warzones and raids is fun. Its everything else surrounding the endgame. The loot is aweful. No world pvp. Tiered gear causing segregation. Too simple combat. No support classes. Stupid grinds.

This expansion is EAwares last chance to retain me as a customer. They've had a year of my money. They've had my patience. They've got my friends. Time to deliver.

while I will not comment on the price,my gripe is I have no lvl 50s, I have a lvl 43, and I am not going to rush to 50, just to then grind to 55. so for the most part this item is not much use to me. they should add something for the lower lvls.

I am really excited to see a new expansion in SWTOR and I am going to pre-order but I hope they add more than what they have told us, cause didn't they say in E3 after a nice trailer that the following will be coming soon (new planet Makeb, new level cap 55, new race cathar, space missions, new wz, new ops)

Now we had space missions, wz, ops as you all know now how come all of a sudden the other half of the video is paid for?

I mean don't get me wrong the price of £5.99 is really good for a digital expansion and I am looking forward to this (hopefully new race will be in it too) but I really do hope they will be announcing more in the expansion that we don't know about from E3 video or this is going to feel like a con

Have you played GW1? They friggin charged like $60 per expansion pack and that was an expansion pack every 4-6 months. $10 is nothing compared to what they will charge when GW2 expansion comes out. And if you like it so much why are you even trolling the forums lol

Clearly says at the bottom there are more features than what is currently listed coming with the x-pac, they will be revealing them down the road as it gets closer to release.

Every other X-pac games release is more expensive than this, hell MoP for WoW was 20$ ON SALE, and this one is half that price to subscribers not on sale...

even GW, which was totally f2p, charged for expansions, as it is how they make the money to continue developing the game

Runescape. Star trek online, Asherons Call, pretty sure there are more...

Entire new chapter, 5 more levels, probably 1-2 new operations and 2-4 new flashpoints, 5 levels worth of quest content, potentially the new super secret space project and the new revamped Ilum world pvp.

We don't know exactly what's in there- but even just the new levels, ops and FPs would be enough to be a small expansion in any mmo.

So- you're wrong, grats.

If you want to be REALLY cynical we can start a conspiracy theory where they are using the pre-order money to fund the expansion they haven't developed yet; like some sort of MMO Ponzi scheme! OoooooOOOooooOOOOoooOOOOoooooo

This- and only one GW1 xpac even had a level cap increase.
