Nothing for Veterans??

Really? Most CE's were sold out first day.

Most pre-ordered game in a long time.

Good 2 mil sub for a few months.

They made their money back for launching this game fast imo.

They also handled the launch way better then most games I've known and fixed major bugs right away.

Increased server pops to allow more players access to servers at a time.

So yeah, it launched pretty rocky right?

InB4 people start chastising about how this is "entitlement".

Obviously, the awards should be tiered with awards for: 1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 8 months, 12 months, 18 months, 24 months, etc.

So, Bioware is really not going to give veterans rewards for this game? With one of the rockiest starts for a game in the last 10 years, you'd think that they would at least show their appreciation to everyone that stuck by them. Instead, Bioware is making us pay for items to create "our own" Life Day event.... Oh wait, they did give us a stack of FIREWORKS!!!! YAY!!

I have been a CE owner since July 2011 and a paying subscriber since the game's first day of Early Access. The only thing I feel like I'm getting is continuously screwed. The sad part is that I honestly love the game, so I don't want to quit just because the Developers could give a rats *** about a loyal subscribers like myself.

Now, I'm not usually one to complain about not receiving something just because I'm helping pay the company bills, but I really do think it's about time that Bioware shows its appreciation for the subscribers and previous subscribers. Players should be able to openly display how long they have been supporting this game... and yes, I do mean brag. No, I don't think asking for a title after paying a continuous sub for an entire year could be construed as "entitlement".

Especially when titles are handed out like candy in the CS & for every otther little event you pass during gameplay.

Is it needed? no. Is it being demanded? no. This thread just brought up the subject for discussion.

Some of these childish posts (not yours - the BLAH BLAH BLAH one comes to mind) against it are just uncalled for.

First Year: Lesson of the Devoted - Gain double experience for 30 minutes. Refreshes every 20 hours.

Second Year: Infusion of the Faithful - Maximum resistances and stats and a faster run speed for 15 minutes. Refreshes every 20 hours.

Third Year: Chaotic Jester - You can summon a Bristlebane Halfling that lasts for 15 minutes. He randomly casts spells that can either benefit or penalize. He constantly cracks annoying jokes too!

Fourth Year: Expedient Recover - All of your corpses can be summoned and you will be given 100% of the lost experience back as part of the resurrection unless they are too old. Refreshes once per week.

Fifth Year: Steadfast Servant - Summon a NPC that will cast healing spells on you and any near players for 30 minutes. Refreshes every 20 hours.

Sixth Year: Staunch Recovery - Fully healed with health, mana, and endurance. Refreshes every 3 days.

Seventh Year: Intensity of the Resolute - Increases your melee abilities, spells, and heals for 1 minute. Refreshes every 4 hours.

Eigth Year: Throne of Heroes - Teleport to the Guild Lobby. Refreshes every 3 days.

Ninth Year: Armor of Experience - A four layered protection from 100% to 25%, each layer absorbing 10 hits until it moves to the next layer. Refreshes every 20 hours.

Tenth Year: Summon Resupply Agent - A Merchant is summoned to your side who will sell supplies and buy your loot off you. He remains up for 10 minutes or until you get rid of him. Refreshes every 20 hours.

Eleventh Year: Summon Clockwork Banker - A Banker is summoned to your side.

Twelvth Year: Summon Permutation Peddler - A Augmentation Distiller Vendor is summoned to your side. Refreshes every 20 hours.

Thirteenth Year: Summon Tribute Master - A Tribute Master is summoned to your side. Refreshes every 20 hours.

Fourteenth Year: Blessing of the Devoted - A passive ability which reduces the time required between uses of your Veteran's Rewards by 25%.

Those comparisons mean nil. If you think another game does something better, so what? If it's enough to draw you to that other game, then what are you doing here?

These boards are for this game, not for comparing it to other games. Do you go to a foreign country and expect everything to be the same as your home? If it's different, do you complain and whine and then demand you get exactly the same as you did at home?
