I am currently rolling a Consular. I'm level 11 and boy have I gotten squishy...

Is this class worth the play? I love the skill set but it sucks relying on my companion to bail me out.
Am I doing something wrong or should I just walk away?

I just really want to like this class.

So I take it you haven't selected your advanced class. Shadow/assassin is considered to be one of the most powerful classes in the game. Worth it ? Hell yeah.

Sage is also good. Won't touch PvP damage, because I play lolstun healer hybrid, but I'm getting a lot of giggles out of it.

PvE healing is also quite ergonomic.

Both advanced classes are good, depending on what your expectations and playstyle are.
