I rate video game reviewers about 1 step higher than people who write blogs. I dont know why people get so worked up about them as most of them have no idea what it actually takes to make a video game and can barely articulate their thoughts in writing form.

I dont agree with the large part of this article but the f2p aspect of it is right. I have never been a fan of f2p simply because I think it cripples the game play in any game and I refuse to be nickled and dimed to death. But with that being said the f2p here though is especially crippling. Rewards at the end of a mission behind a pay if you want this screen, can't have more than two quickbars if you don't buy it, slower leveling, and no rest XP. Come on they are a bit ridiculous with it. I think this is a huge part of all the negative reviews this game is getting. While it is true that people can't have the full game for free you don't want to restrict f2p so much that it makes the game play just flat out unpleasent and frustrating. Could you imagine fighting your way through a mission only to discover at the the end that you not only had to complete the mission but also pay to get the reward! If it was me I'd log off and wipe the game off my hard drive.
Being a subscriber I don't run into these problems and they dont bother me and there are those subscribers that say this is how f2p'ers should be treated. But then I have been here since last March I have put too much time and effort into my chracters to just walk away now. No, I will stay untill the end as will I suppose all the other subscribers who like me enjoy the game flaws and all. But it is not players like me that need to be apeased right now it is those that BW/EA are trying to attract with the f2p conversion. And the resritctions and the bad reviews put together are not helping them in this endevour. I want SWTOR to make it and hope they lighten up on the f2p model so we can keep going strong!

Eurogamer is a terrible site. Having kids writing articles. Probably they did not get a free account to play at the start so they are all against TOR. Who cares? I love the game. Fail.

Yes indeed.
If you think that the game deserves 4/10 and continue to play it, then I'm sorry for you... You are a complete retard.

People who enjoy the game like me hardly visit the forums. ( Last time i visited the forums was 3 months ago.)

And i don't even know eurogamer... why are they important ?

You live in a world Of capitalism and BIG MMO Corporations.
Biased Reviews For a fee, are Considered a Valid way to fight the opposition.
That's why when you want to buy a new game you search for more reviews than one. To get a clear picture.

Yes Free to play option is crap. But...
SWTOR is too good to hand it out free.

You like the game ? pay for it.
You wanted Kotor 3 instead Of swtor ? Play as a F2P on a PVE server.
You aren't happy with the game ? Don't play it.

It's a very fair review. 4/10 is where this game belongs. End game has gotten worse for PvPers who had half of their 'missions' removed with Ilum's debacle and never replaced. I'd even suggest that the 4 is generous.

Did you just start playing or something? You could be the only person logged into your TOR server and not know the difference. Not a good thing for an MMO. People have only been pointing this out since beta.

Strange. I see people all over the place. I know I'm not alone. Chat seems to be full...hm. OK so what now?

Are you saying the quests are primarily single player? Good. I don't want to be bogged down waiting to form groups for basic content.

If I want to group up, I'll run the heroic areas.

I've stopped logging in because there is no one around even after destroying two servers that I was on and forcing me to new ones. Last time I logged on there wasn't even 100 people at fleet during prime time. It always seems so dead to me and it gets worse over time.

Where are you playing? The fleet has 2-3 instances on my server (Po5).

Every other planet has at least one instance with 100 people, if not 2-3 more.

I don't know what to tell you. Maybe check your instance.
