I am finding it extremely hard to beat space missions are they even worth my time? Make sure your ship components are upgraded to the appropriate level of the mission. When you select the mission from the space map it will tell you what level you need, i.e. Level 3 or higher. Things to know. While firing your blasters prevents shield regeneration. Get a feel for how long you have to fire in order for a target to be destroyed, then stop firing to let your shield regen. Use Fleet comms to buy additional upgrades, one of which will give you 1 of 3 choices (I often alternate between 1 and 2 during the mission) 1: increased fire power 2: increased shield regen 3: neither, works as if you don't have the upgrade. Use missiles on objectives. Don't run into objects, this causes major damage Space mission give decent XP and fleet comms. happysister Posted November 22, 2012 Share Posted November 22, 2012 if you need to buy new starship parts (regular ones, not the fleet comm ones), i would check the GTN as cybertechs can craft ship components. those tend to be better than the ones you can buy from the vendors.
