HK-51 legacy unlock gear

Hi,

I used cartel coins to unlock an HK-51 on one of my lower level characters (after unlocking him via the questline on my main). However, all his gear is level 50, and thus unusable. Is this a bug, or are there currently any plans to make his gear either scalable or the correct level once bought?

same issue. and considering it costs a ****ton of cartel coins to unlock him. this is just wrong. there was no notice that said he would be a droid with broken parts

Your lucky...Did the HK quest on my main and he didn't have any gear at all (nor any weapons). And buying the crafted gear is crazy expensive so basically have new companion that is useless.

Same issue, already submitted a ticket with the bugs I've found with HK. I hope we can get scale-able gear...and maybe some interaction from HK in our main story quests.

I as well received a useless HK droid. I didnt even know he was suppose dot have gear. I thought that was just BIO being lazy and maing us work extra hard to gear him. so i spent a ******** of credits and comms gearing him. You think they are gonna fix this and give us our gear for our otherwise useless new companion?

Same issue with the lvl 50 gear with my lvl 30 character.

I have found a temporary workaround for this problem.The Cybertech crew skill can craft modable droid armor pieces. Simply have one craft the various pieces needed and the mod them up. It is a pain and should not need to be done however it will work for now.
