I most likely will, along with more than 50% of all the new players that tries this game. If Bioware doesn't ease on the restrictions, this game will most likely fall. Then it will be a choice of either lessening the restrictions, or shut the game down before they go bankrupt. End of story.

Also, again you assume I want everything, I've already said I don't mind having restrictions as a free player, only a lessened restriction than what we have now. Stop assuming I want everything and actually read what's posted.

Don't assume what I assume. I responded to the statement I quoted, that is all.

When you leave with this alleged more than 50% of the new players, please don't make a thread in the forums saying you are leaving.

Socialist, I don't want post this as any kind of argument against you, because I believe you have a valid concern here. But I'm fairly sure the Cartel Coins are a perk of an active subscription; basically a "perk" of paying monthly designed to offset the need to pay for content only available through micro-transaction.

I could be wrong as I haven't really read much on this - someone can correct me here if so.

While I agree with you, Leo, there is a certain sticking point that's getting me. That is: the people that did purchase the game and sub for a number of months have the coins retroactive as a perk for supporting the game early on, but they have to be subscribed to redeem that. If you come back to test drive the free to play to see what changes are there in order to determine if you want to resub, you don't get them by default even though you have already paid. So, it really isn't a perk of the sub in that instance, it's a carrot to get you to resub.

The monthly allotment is a reasonable perk. 500 is a nice little thank you to go along with the sub. And from the look of things BioWare needs to thank all the people subbing now for overlooking a subpar overall experience in order to frolic in the Star Wars universe.

That isn't true, if I quote the TOR webpage:
"Make any purchase of $4.99 to upgrade to Preferred Status! "

We appreciate your desire to share your thoughts, but petition threads are not permitted on the forums, as they encourage unconstructive posts. There are several threads that exist for the discussion of F2P restricitons, and we ask that you please continue the discussion in one of them. Thank you!
