Interesting how quickly demography of playing landscape seems to change these days. I fail to see how a broken Cartel Market for a day or two is a major game breaker. I find all this rant about how 'emberassing' and how 'unprofessional' this is as complete rubbish and a waste of time. Secondly, as far as I know the issue also involves Origin(EA's online store facility) thus the problem is EA side and seems a little more serious obviously. More info would be nice, but you know one can also just simply subscribe for a lousy 10 quid a month and earn items and fun. Was actually how this game was intended if you had all forgotten in your Cartel Coin frenzy.

So sit it out. Will come back online. Simmer a little-indeed holidays-go have fun-PLAY the game!

Yeah I figure this is how it will pan out tbh. I mean I DO understand the feelings of all those that have limited holidays and were looking forward to a 100% fun time on SWTOR and they messed up, but life happens to be like that. In actual fact there was ample time to buy the pre-order prior to the service going down. I think I bought mine over a week ago. So c'me on, get a gripe on reality.

Your reality must be different to mine..I tried to buy the pre-order within a few hours of it appearing on the site and was blocked right away.

That is indeed odd. I also just snopped around to see if I can see ANY kind of statement regarding ANYTHING from any BW employee on this forum, but nothing since 24.12.2012. Well......ladies and gents......that IS bad. LOL

you make it sound like the people complaining here are only complaining about 1 or 2 days of being unable to get cartel coins, which is not the case, if it was only 1 or 2 days there wouldn't be over 170+ pages of complaints, i for one have had this for almost 2 mths now, unable to get cartel coins, nor can i resub the game due to this error, so yeah, i feel valid in my complaint and many many others have had it far longer, bioware/ea are essentially ignore the issue, and i feel that even with the promise of an expansion the game is on its last legs, i can't enjoy the game with the amount of bugs that are plaguing it, or the incompetent in game CS staff (looking at you M0-T0) , and to make matters worse they did the same damn thing when they released the f2p model, massive load of bugs, and they all take off for thanks giving, then u got the broken payment options, why add the Boku pay by mobile if its just broken anyway....

I found a somewhat competent Indian from the Customer Service Department via Phone..

Dial 1-855-467-9867 (SWTOR)

Apparently the EA store thinks that people who buy items from them are hacking accounts to do so.. so if you… oh say over the holiday buy a good size amount of their product they have a trailer trash security system that blocks that card from being used and then promptly blocks that account from loading any other card.

Bio-Ware isn’t to blame it’s the inept rectal monkey’s at EA that caused the issue to not only this game but everything under the umbrella of Origin/EA so if you got block I guess you get the luxury of not paying this seeping sewer of a company any more money until they decide you can..

Now on with the show!

I wonder what the stockholders and board thinks of stuff like this? How long have people been trying to give them money and they have been refusing to take it?

EDIT: And by that, I mean this does not look to be a short term issue AND the number of people that actually post about stuff on a forum is tiny compared to the number that experiences the issue.
